Burning Blaze reappears

The story so far…

Blaze and Cream’s travels have brought them all the way to the pyramids in Sandopolis (stage 9). Upon their arrival, they’ve learned that the once-ancient pyramids have been overrun by machinery, an oil facility occupies the ruins harvesting the resources, and the pyramids are haunted. They go deeper into the tomb, finding out the hard way just how haunted the pyramids are. Blaze and Cream end up releasing a swarm of ghosts on accident that proceed to chase and haunt them. To keep the ghosts at bay, they’ve kept the lights on inside the pyramid.

After hours of navigating the pyramid, they confront Eggman Nega on surprise. He’ the Sol Dimension’s mad genius and Robotnik’s counterpart, bent on destruction. With the quickness, he seizes Cream, the one thing Blaze holds most dear, to push her over the edge. He reveals his plans: to recreate the same disaster by building an interdimensional Eggman Land (again) powered by chaos energy. Blaze, too pissed to listen, loses control and transforms into Burning Blaze. Threatning she’ll burn the pyramid all the way to the ground if he doesnt drop the squirt. He drops the rabbit and retreats into the shadows. Consumed by rage and determined to burn his face off, Blaze grabs Cream and charges after him without hesitation. The ground gives in beneath them, plunging them all the waaay down.
