How to Download & Install My Builds 🤍

Here’s a simple lil guide on how to download and install my builds into your game. I'm making this for anyone who’s new to using custom builds or just needs a lil reminder.

1. Download & Extract the Files
• Download the ZIP file and extract it using WinRAR or any other file extractor tool by right clicking the file and clicking Extract/Unzip option.
• Inside, you’ll find two folders:
– Tray Files (makes the build appear in your Library)
– Mods/CC (used to style the build, sorted by creator or category)

2. Install the Tray Files
Go to:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray
• Copy all the files ending in .blueprint, .bpi, .trayitem, etc. into this folder. These are the ones that start something like '0x0000'

📌 These files are what make the build show up in your game! You can also download these from the Sims 4 Gallery.

3. Install Mods/CC
Go to:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Place all .package files (into folders organised by creator is easiest to keep it from getting messy) into your mods folder.
• Note: Mods/CC can't be more than two folders deep so CC I make for example goes into: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods > Babybeesims

✅ Make sure “Enable Custom Content and Mods” is ticked in your game settings

4. Load the Build In Sims
• Open the Gallery or your Library in Build/Buy mode
• Tick “Include Custom Content” in the advanced filters
• The lot should now appear

📌 If the build is an apartment, it will appear as a Room. You’ll need to use bb.moveobjects on and re-add any deleted walls after placing.

Let me know if anything’s missing or not working. I’m always happy to help! 💌
Enjoy!

With love,
Bee 🤍
