How to Download & Install My Sims 🤍

Here’s a quick little guide on how to download and install my Sims into your game! I wanted to make this post for anyone new to downloads and so that this info is easily accessible if you need any assistance or reminders.

1. Download & Extract the Files
• Download the ZIP file and extract it using WinRAR or any file extractor tool.
• Inside, you'll find two folders: one with Tray Files and one with Mods/CC used in the Sim which are organised by creator or CAS.

2. Install Tray Files
• Go to:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray
• Copy all the Tray files (.householdbinary, .sgi, .trayitem, etc.) into this folder.

📌 These files are what make the Sim show up in your Library!

Note: If you came here from a Curseforge Download, you only need to download the tray files once. Either the set available on Curseforge OR the set in the Sim Download from here on Patreon. If you downloaded the tray files on Curseforge, delete the tray files found in the Patreon download.

3. Install Mods/CC
• Go to:
Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Place all the .package files and any included folders (by creator or cas) here.

Note: Ensure you do not have any duplicates. A lot of my Sims use the same cc, you may already have a lot of the cc needed for additional sims if you already have some of my sims in your game. Often if you drag cc into the folder it will say "this is a duplicate", you can choose to replace the file or exclude it.

Make sure Mods and CC are enabled in your game settings!

4. Find the Sim in Your Game
• Open the Gallery (or Library tab) in CAS
• Tick "Include Custom Content" in the advanced filters
• Your Sim should appear ready to go!

Note: When you open the Sim in CAS it may say 'Items Missing'. In all of my sim downloads on Patreon I include base cc. Most creators don't want you to include cc in your sim downloads and to respect peoples creations, I only include the minimum amount required to make the sim look like the sim I've created, therefore, it will probably always say there are 'items missing' as it's items I have purposely left out to respect other creators. As long as the Sim looks like they should, don't worry!

Please let me know if any mods are missing or you have any issues with my sims. I'm more than happy to help. Feel free to comment any questions.

Enjoy,

Bee 🤍
