Oh and btw change/lmsy did their thang with those transitions— they deserve their flowers 💐
LMSY is so freaking cute and natural. I swear these characters together..is 30% acting and 70% being themselves lol.. love the reaction and can’t wait for more.
Episode 5 starts as Klao and Si are still basking in the afterglow of the proposal/first night together. Si calls her P’Klao now, the same as Jiu, she argues. Klao like it, it makes her want to cherish and care for Si. Klao calls he Noo Si, and Si claims that sounds like calling a kid, but Klao claims that it comes from calling her “Khun noo” (little lady) and Si likes that better. They exchange a few “P’Klao”s and “Noo Si”s, then kiss again. They are happy even if Si hasn’t given her the answer to her proposal yet, but Klao argues they have all the time in the world for that. They, Klao wants to get up, but Si wants to sleep some more. As Klao gets above Si to get her out of bed, Si argues that wasn’t “two rounds” enough, but Klao claims that even ten rounds would be too few. 😉 After the credits and a little skincare sponsoring, Klao and Si visit the temple for peace of mind, and Si claims she doesn’t really visit temples, and Klao argues she could visit temples if she spent less time on shopping. The argue a bit about Klao being so devout that she could have been ordained, then, they come to the donation boxes and the first two boxes Si fills freely but the third box which means getting a stable home, married and a family, Si lets Klao fill. And Klao does give a little extra (red) 100 THB banknotes away towards marriage. Afterwards, they go to a café for some Ovaltine and pa tong go (Chinese crullers) which Klao puts in the drinks piece by piece as her mother did, she claims. She dreamt of her mother the previous night, she claims, and told her she has a girlfriend now. Si thinks she is imagining things and asks who is her girlfriend, but Klao claims that she is even a wife. Si calls her crazy, but likes her way of eating the pa tong go. Then, Si wants to know whether Klao really likes her. Klao claims that after all she’s done, she still doubts her. But Si wants to know if there even is anything for her to like about Si. She calls herself moody, harsh and stubborn, and with a bad personality. But Klao thinks that she’s harsh because she’s trying to protect herself. And she argues that life in Bangkok is chaotic with too much competition and rushed, so she turns hot-tempered. But when she’s in an environment like this, she slows down, and smiles or laughs more easily. Jiu comes to them on his motorcycle, arguing that they’re inseparable, and he likens the to the two buffaloes at the farm, which gets Si worked up to be called a buffalo. Si argues that the environment there is great – except for Jiu, her little lackey. This gets Jiu worked up – because she called her P’Klao for which her wants charge her royalty fees. But Si ignores him and wants to drive a tractor next. Jiu tells Si how to start the tractor using a crank, but she can’t make it, scratching her nails in the process, which prompts Jiu to joke about her, but Klao tells him to go. But Jiu wants them to visit Klao’s sister-in-law who is a doctor, not because of Si’s scratched finger nails, but because Klao must be bitten by something, and she’s starting to act weird. But Klao argues that she isn’t sick – she’s just in love. Si scolds her for saying that in front of Jiu, and Jiu looks like he’s about to barf, and leaves. Si thinks Klao should reign in her lackey as he’s getting more and more annoying, but Klao wants her not to take it to heart, and claims he’s not doing so well right now, he’s just getting by each day, and she’s not sure how long he can keep going. Si feels bad for him, and argues that this morning she made a wish for him, too. Then, they drive with the tractor across the fields. Back at home, Si notices that her bracelet is gone from her handbag, she claims it’s her favorite bracelet, but Klao argues it’s already lost, and getting upset about it won’t bring it back, it’ll only make her wrinkle and age faster. Klao needs to get back to the fields but Si just wants to sleep, so they kiss as Klao heads out again. Si plays with Pao as Klao works on the field, and as the street vendor comes back wearing some garish makeup, which he put on because his stuff isn’t selling well rights now. But Si gets him to talk about social media clips which they both enjoy and even gets to help him making one of her own for promotion. Later, Klao and Si watch the results on her phone, with Si arguing that these days marketing strategies are important, and she told him to post daily from now on and update what’s new. Klao argues that he just lost his boyfriend and Si argues she could give him some unused makeup of hers. Si bought lots of seafood for her to cook as well, and as Klao is reacting cautiously she claims she’s way better than she thinks, and Klao tells her not to burn the house down while cooking. Klao gets a call from Song asking her to sign the amended lease, and she says she will be in Bangkok in a few days and will notify her once the date is fixed. Then, she wants to know whether Si is with her and she confirms it, and claims that she is making dinner. Song claims she’s never seen her do housework in her life, and wants to know why she turned into a completely different person in Suphan. She really wants to see it with her own eyes, and Klao invites her and her parent to come visit them Song wants to know what exactly they are to each other now, and Klao gets flustered by Song, who claims, that’s an answer, too. Klao wants to know whether she hates her sister that much that she want her to live far away, but Song claims that she just looks way happier since she met Klao, and claims that no one has ever talked to her for more that three sentences without getting annoyed – except her. The dinner turns out to look well, Klao praises her for her cooking skills, and Klao brings along a big jar of homemade plum wine, which gets Si to claim she will not take responsibility if Klao get drunk again. But Klao claims that a refreshing drink is the perfect pair to delicious food, and promises she won’t get drunk this time. Klao takes three plates of food this time and Si warns her that she will throw up due to overeating instead of drinking this time, but Klao argues that it’s all because she cooked such delicious food. Later, Klao wants to know if Si really has to go home, but she wants to start her own business, and look for a way. Klao asks her whether she still wants to be CEO, but since she is not the favorite child, she argues, she must find her own way to grow. But Klao doesn’t want her to think like that, points out that no parent doesn’t love their child, and asks her if she hadn’t to work at the company at all and yet still has money to spend freely, and she doesn’t have to wake up early to get to work like her sister, which Si all confirms. Then Klao asks have her parents ever scolded her, when she didn’t act out at them first, to which Si reports they complain sometimes but have never scolded her. Klao then argues who exactly is their favorite child – he sister who has to work so hard to get what she wants, or Si, who just gets handed everything to her without doing anything. Klao thinks she is misunderstanding her parents and her sister. Si wants to know whether she should go back and work with her family, but Klao claims that is not what she meant, she agrees with her wanting to grow on her own but she doesn’t want to see her family in a negative way, when in reality everyone loves her so much. Si then claims that she wants to work in real estate, but it’s hard and she’s scared that she’ll fail. She might not just embarrass herself; she might lose everything, she fears. Then, Klao vows to sell all her land and give her everything should she fail. But she has to marry her first. Late at night, Klao calls Si up one hear phone while they’re separated, and Si claims she got carried away with work and didn’t even notice that time, and Klao claims she was thinking about her – right there, right now. And they imagine they are together at each other’s place, kiss each other and fall into bed at both places with the scenes in Si’s bed and in Klao’s bed alternating. Afterwards. Klao claims that she would drive straight to her if she did drive at night, then Si tells her to hurry and come see her the next morning. Early in the morning, Klao returns to Bangkok just as the family is leaving for work, and she claims she will be at the office this afternoon – but right now, she wants to see Si. It’s not serious, but it’s urgent, she claims. Soon thereafter, she knocks on Si’s door – and catches a sleepy Si, arguing it’s not even 7 a.m. yet. But she claims she come early because she asked her to, kisses and drags her back into her room. Later they are at the mall, and Klao is trying on some fancy outfits, and Si thinks she look stunning and should have ditched those t-shirts ages ago, but Klao claims that this is not proper farm attire. Si wants her to try on two more, and is quite convincing so she goes to change. As she is waiting for Klao, she notices Jane is there as well, and wants to talk to her in private, but had to threaten her with security before Jane leaves with her for the stairs. Jane thinks that couples don’t need to reason to meet, Si tells her again that they are broken up, but Jane doesn’t want to hear it. Si claims she knows that she scammed a foreigner until he lost everything and caught her, and that’s why she crawled back. Jane grabs her and caresses her belly button, but Si slaps her and calls security, Jane threatens her with a series of lewd videos they filmed together and argues she could ruin her by positing them on the internet. But Si lets her being dragged out of the mall and confiscates her phone. As she is dragged away she claims to have made copies of the videos. Klao doesn’t find Si as she gets out of the changing room, but buys the outfits, anyway. She enter a jewelry store after that to buy Si a new bracelet. She finds Si as she is standing at a railing somewhere, and both ask where they have been, Klao asks if Si is okay but Si brushes away her encounter with Jane and claims she’s fine, but notices that Klao is sill wearing her farm outfit and this won’t do when she takes her out for dinner that day. So, she wants Klao to change into something fancy. At night, Si and Klao enter a restaurant together and Klao clearly is out of her environment. But Si claims she is looking really beautiful, and she teaches her proper etiquette for the restaurant and even offers to switch plates as Klao seems to dislike the food – spaghetti carbonara – she ordered, but the steak that Si ordered also tastes bland in Klao’s eyes. Klao wants to know whether they have some Jaew dipping sauce (I assume she means น้ำจิ้มแจ่ว or Nam Jim Jaew, a popular Thai dipping sauce), and Si gets her some by ordering it as Si’s wish from the chef. Si claims she is now brave enough to order something special just for Klao. As Klao gets the sauce, she gives Si a piece of meat to try it as well, and Si likes it. After dinner, Klao gives Si the bracelet with a heart on it she bought, and Si likes it, and claims it’s much prettier than her old one. Klao thinks that they should try out some self-brewed “horse kicking liquor” next time, and Si is down for trying new things, anyway. Then, Klao leaves for the restroom… …where Jane is waiting for her to get out of the stall and prepares a recording. As Klao gets out she wants to get her LINE ID, as she claims she’s looking just like her ex. Klao claims she already had a fiancée, but Jane hugs her from behind, claiming her ex died in an accident and she’s never seen anyone who looks this much like her. Klao turns around as Jane want to see her face up close, and she hugs her again and claims she misses her so much – just as Si enters the restroom. And that’s where episode 5 ends. ____ Apart from the last scene, this was an hour of pure bliss, as Klao and Si are in love and making each other better. But Jane is going to cause trouble, and get punched for it next week – twice. 😉But that’s for another week – this time Klao and Si come to terms with the fact that they love each other, and while Si still hesitant to label their relationship, it’s clear that she cares deeply for her, and even tolerates the “tapeworm” – occasionally. 😊And she tries to make something of her own in the real estate business. We will see how that turns out. But this episode was fine.
If I were Si and Jane slipped her hand into my dress like that, I would’ve ripped her a new one right then and there. Jane won’t be leaving without at least a black eye and a split lip. Jane really is as unhinged as they get in these GLs.
