I'm sorry but the aunt and the dad both made me mad you shouldn't bad mouth a kid and you can't force kids to be siblings/friends

This is my favorite cousin and book in the series. Fai will annoy you a bit more in the series but dont worry, she will return to the Fai we fell in love with from the previous shows. I think the reason why they made her so much more frustrating is not just because of her element, but her growth is more noticeable compared to if she was the Fai from Earth, Water, and Air. And, yes, the aunt...out of all the villians in the series, the aunt was the only one I felt intense dislike to almost hatred for. I hope they keep the character's true character within the show. The actress playing her is doing an amazing job at portraying her. Everyone is killing their roles especially the kids.

We start in Surat Thani and with a few of the enterprises that the Akanee Empire consist of: We visit the stone crushing plant, the palm oil plantation and the fisherman’s wharf, und under the leadership of Akanee, Fai’s father. Then, we switch to an award ceremony where Akanee is awarded an honorary award given to him for his contributions to the benefits and well-being of Surat Thani. He gladly accepts the award, but remarks how getting to this was anything but easy. He mentions that people tried to get rid of him, and we see a flashback of an assassination attempt. But he claims that he will stand firm in his morals and will never bow down to any misconduct, and that is why his Akanee empire is thriving now. After the speech, he takes a few photos, then talks to his aide Yod (whom we already met in “The Air”) and asks if Roong has arrived yet, Yod confirms it, and has already sent someone to pick her up and take her to the main house. Akanee wants “his little one” to move in with him so that she can help him looking after his business. Yoa fears that the Young Master (he means Fai) will not be happy about it and claims even Wanna doesn’t get to stay there, but Akanee claims it’s not fer her to decide, and she never slept at the main house, anyway, and hardly help him with the business. He argues that only God knows why she keeps avoiding him, and wants to know if he has seen her that day or if he knows where the Young Master now is. Yod just smiles… …as Fai is running a motorcycle street race, and is winning. After the race, an associate shows her the pictures he took of the Master woman, and Fai is horrified that the father is apparently seeing someone her own age. He has rented a flat for her and paid her tuition until she graduated, and people in the neighborhood claim he’s seeing her every week, he reports. Fai gets a phone call from the housemaid Paen (played by Ampere who was Noi, the H.R. girl in “Gap”), who claims that the master has just brought the same girl into the main house to move in. Fai rushes home and tells Paen to throw the girl’s luggage away, but Akanee stops her from following her orders and tells her to bring the suitcases upstairs. Fai accuses him of having no shame calling the girl his “little one”, and reminds him that she told him not to bring any of his women to this house. She doesn’t care how many girls he’s seeing, she claims, but argues this house is not place for his “chicks.” She argues that this is Mum’s house and he has no right to bring his new lover there. But he claims he isn’t bringing her new lover there, and Fai wants to know who the hell she is – just as she comes in. Akanee asks her if she remembers her, but Fai denies it, and he tells her she’s Kaphrao (played by Noey) and she recognized the bloody “guinea pig” , as she puts it. And we get a flashback of them meeting as kids, when Akanee brought her over as a little sister for Fai, and told Kaphrao to always listen to her system. Fai claimed to her Aunt Panee that Kaphrao lost her parent, so father took her to live with them. Panee is sceptic about Kaphrao and thinks she might be his mistress’s daughter and argues that Fai should stay away from her, she will take everything from her. Later, Kaphrao wants to play with Fai, but she doesn’t want to and argues she is not her big sister as she claims. She pushes her away and Kaphrao gets hurt, with Akanee scolding her and warning her he will give her a smack if she doesn’t give up. But she maintains she doesn’t have a younger sister, and doesn’t like guinea pig (Note: Guinea pig is ตะเภา in Thai and sounds similar to Kaphrao or กะเพรา which means “holy basil”) she thought that she only came to her house to steal her father’s love from her. Later, Kaphrao brought some desert for Fai and Akanee, but Fai claimed it tasted terrible. Fai claimed that everything Kaphrao did was fine and everything she did was wrong. Later, they got in a fight because of some toys, and Fai ended up braking them all and throwing them aways because she didn’t like that Kaphrao was playing with them. Fai claims they always fought like cat and dog, until the time Fai told her to play hide and seek inside a refrigerator truck, closed the door and let her be driven away. Akanee found her after considerable time and she was almost killed by the refrigeration. Akanee was furious at Fai for getting Kaphrao almost killed, and he hit her until Panee ran over to protect Fai. Akanee claims that Panee spoiled her rotten and that’s why she turned out like this. He decided to raise Kaphrao somewhere else, and claimed she would never see her again. At the current meeting, Kaphrao greet her with “long time no see, Buffalo Fai” (Note: “buffalo” is a slang term for calling someone stupid, and the original, she calls her “sister” – พี่ – but with audible disrespect), Fai hits back by calling her hid side piece that he has kept and paid for her tuition. Akanee confirms that Kaphrao has already graduated and will stay there to help him with his work. Fai claims that gremlin will take her job, but Akanee point out that she hates coming to the office, and never come to the meetings, so, he has to find someone who is willing to work. Fai is not okay with her, but Akanee can’t help her with that, and argues that she’s been avoiding him – tells her if she has anything to talk to him from now on, she should just talk to Kaphrao. And he will let Kaphrao know if he wants to talk to Fai. Fai is not okay with that, but Akanee isn’t asking for her approval. And Fai relents by letting her work for him, but maintains she absolutely can’t stay in the main house no matter what. And he forbids Kaphrao from calling her sister because she isn’t her sibling. Akanee excuses Fai’s behavior while dining with Kaphrao, claiming that her mother passed when she was little, and he buried himself in work after that. And she was pampered by Panee. Kaphrao claims she can go live at the worker’s cabin, and argues she doesn’t want Fai to hate her even more. But Akanee wants her to stay as his niece, not his employee. But she wants to make friends with her co-workers and learn about work along the way. Akanee doesn’t want to force her, so he agrees. He will ask yod to take her to the cabin and will give her a tour the next day. Meanwhile, Fai and Panee also share a meal, and Panee never thought Akanee would bring Kaphrao back again. And Fai admits the she completely forgot about her and didn’t even recognize her. Panne wants to know if she will be okay with Kaphrao working there, and Fai isn’t, but argues she can’t say anything to Akanee either. Panee argues that while Akanee might see her as his niece, he can’t change the fact that she isn’t related to him, and she’s all grown up now, and she might seduce him for his money. Fai claims Akanee probably isn’t into someone that young, but Panee claims it’s better to be safe than sorry, and argues Fai must keep an eye on her, or she might soon become her stepmother, she warns her. But Fai vows Kaphrao must go over her dead body first to do that. Kaphrao is brought by Yod to the worker’s cabin, and asks her if she’s sure to stay her, which Kaphrao confirms, then tells her he will bring a bicycle the next day, as it quite a long way to the office. He closes by telling her to call him if she needs anything, and reveals he lives next door. She carries her luggage inside and checks the house out, when someone knocks at her door. It’s Bua from the fishermen’s island (played of course by Looknam) who claims that the Young Master sent her to stay with her, as she is staying alone and is a girl. Kaphrao suspects it’s more of a move to spy on her. She barges in, claims that the house is even bigger than her back on the island, then chooses the room Kaphrao was about to claim for herself, claiming she is from Fai private island, but chose to go to the mainland because she wanted to have a boyfriend, and there are more people on the mainland. Kaphrao gets barely a word out before she closes the door. Later, she sits in her room and look at a photograph of her with her father when he was still alive, and she claims that she finally get to work where her father worked. The next day, Akanee takes Kaphrao on a tour of his businesses, showing her the fishery, the mine and the plantation and going to the office (with Paen spying for Fai, I guess). He tells her she can look around and tell her later where she wants to work, and they cause quite some attention among the workers. She wants to work her tuition fees off, but Akanee claims he is actually indebted to the last father, and promises to take good care of her, like he did with Fai. And she thanks her for that as simple worker’s daughter. While looking around, Kaphrao overhear some workers calling her the master’s new chick. Bua comes over and confirms that she is believed to be the master’s new woman. Kaphrao claims that’s not true, and argues Fai would eat her head off, if she knew about it. But Fai already knows, Bua claims. And indeed, Fai was informed by Panee and Paen that they acted lovey-dovey that morning. Fai almost explodes as she wants to know where that gremlin is. Kaphrao is cycling home, but Fai joins her with her car, and makes her fall down. As Fai gets out she claims she is sad that she missed, but wants to talk. And Kaphrao points out that normal people don’t run over the people they want to talk to, but Fai argues that nothing much happened, because she can still bark at her. She wants to know why she came back, and Kaphrao claims she wanted to pay back Akanee’s kindness by working for him, but Fai laughs at that notion and argues she is itching to get her hands on Akanee’s money. Kaphrao claims that is actually a good idea, she wouldn’t have to work so hard. And If she gets to be the mistress here, she can boss Fai around. Fai vows to never let her live in peace if she tries to seduce Akanee for money, but Kaphrao mocks her by claiming she is so scared, and she wants Fai to call her Mommy so that gets used to it. Fai tries to attack her but Kaphrao forgot to tell her she’s got a black belt, and deals with her, finally calling her daughter and asking her if it hurts, claiming Mommy will fix it for her. Fai goes home to Akanee and claims that Kaphrao hit her. But Kaphrao is already there and confirms it. She urges him to fire her, but Akanee doubts it arguing why Kaphrao hurt her with no rhyme or reason, and Kaphrao claims it was in self-defense, as she drove her car to hit her, and he can check the footage of her dashcam. Akanee wants to know from Fai whether she has anything to say for herself, and Fai argues that he’s always unfairly taking Kaphrao’s side instead of hers. She runs to her car and drives off without saying a word. Akanee is sorry that she that to her, it’s his fault that he didn’t raise her, but Kaphrao thinks it’s her fault as well. Akanee claims she has always been like this, always keeping quiet no matter what she did to her. But Kaphrao claims she can handle her, with Akanee urging her to be more patient and waiting until she is grown up, but Kaphrao argues that she *is* grown-up, but her personality is still as unpleasant. Fai wants to get something to eat from Paen, and Paen brings her some meal with a lot of basil, and Fai just devours it. Meanwhile, Kaphrao is talking to yod, and he argues that she is not getting along well with the Young Master, and Kaphrao claims she really doesn’t get it, what has gotten into her to have such a filthy thought. She claims it’s understandable that she doesn’t trust her, but she should trust her own father. Yod claims the master is very popular, and despite being a widower many girl are lining up to be with him, but he’s actually very loyal and hasn’t seen anyone after his wife passed away except Wanna. Kaphrao hat never met her, but yod explains she lives in a small house at the back of the plantation, and the master had tried to brings her into the main house but ended up having a big fight with Fai, and after that, Akanee and Fai became estranged, with Fai sleeping at Panee’s house most of the time. Kaphrao fears that Wanna would misunderstand her, but Yod argues she is generous and open-minded and tells her not to worry. Akanee eats at Wanna’s (played by Charm from “The Loyal Pin”) house, and she argues he must be busy, for he hasn’t come there for a while , and he reports that Kaphrao just moved in, so there are many things to take care of. She also heard about the rumor, and argues it must have given him a headache, but Akanee hopes she doesn’t believe that rumor, and she claims they have been together for so many years now that she of course doesn’t believe it – she knows what kind of person he is. Akanee is still sorry for what Fai did to her, but Wanna is quite happy to stay in her own place like this, and tell him not to worry. But she doesn’t understand why he wants Kaphrao to live there. Akanee claims she loves Kaphrao just as much as his own daughter and wishes for them to become close. Kaphrao returns home to find Panee is waiting for her, who finds it rude to keep her waiting that long. And she wants to warn her: she doesn’t know why she returned, but she should never cause her niece any trouble, claiming Akanee might be fond of her, but she isn’t. She promises to stay away from her as best she can, and Panee tells her that’s good, because she doesn’t want to waste her time talking to her. And she leaves before Kaphrao can get another sentence out. At night, she asking her father’s picture why everyone there hates her, as someone knocks on her door. She opens the door and finds Fai there, who is asking if she expected to find her father there, or one of the workers, the thought of which she finds disgusting, and claims why didn’t she call first. But Fai argues this house is also her property, and she doesn’t need anyone’s approval to come there. she barges in and wants to check if she’s planning something evil or arranging a bed for Akanee, and argues that she must come to Panee’s house every day from now on to eat with her, so that she won’t have time to seduce her father. She argues that the thought of eating with her makes her want to puke, but Fai claims it’s an order. Kaphrao claims she’s not her boss, and she doesn’t have the right to tell her what to do, and Fai tells her fine, if that’s what she wants… The next day, Kaphrao wants to go but Bua wants to join her for a meal. She tells her she’s waiting for Yod to take her to the mine, and Bua tells her to apply lots of sunscreen, then – it’s as hot as hell there, arguing she wanted to let Fai work her there because she wanted to be surrounded by strong and muscular men, but once she got there would rather stay on the island. Yod calls her, and she leaves… …but it’s Fai waiting for her, to take her to work, of course, claiming Akanee already agreed to let her work with her, and claims she is her assistant now. And we get a flashback of Akanee talking with Fai over drinks, and agrees to help him with work, and agreeing to do anything he assigns her to do and attend every meeting – under one condition: he has to let Kaphrao be her assistant, and wants him to give her a chance, And Akanee will trust her this time. She tells Kaphrao that from now on, she has to do whatever she says because she is now officially her boss. Kaphrao suspects she is plotting something evil, but Fai claims all she has is sincerity. Fai tells her to get in the car, and tells the just arriving Yod that she will take care of Kaphrao, and he can go and do something else. Fai tells Kaphrao to stop standing there like an idiot and get in the car, and Kaphrao gets reluctantly in her car. On the way to the mine, Kaphrao want to why she wants her as her assistant if she doesn’t like her and even volunteers to take her around the mine, and asks if she in panning to kill her and dump her body there. Fai thinks that’s a great idea, and thanks her for the suggestion. Kaphrao warns her not to mock her. Fai just claims to want to show her around the mine and give her a “mining 101” lesson. She asks her what faculty she graduated from and she replies only after a second request that she graduated in accounting, and Fai calls it unbelievable because she doesn’t look like someone who is educated, to which Kaphrao retorts the Fai doesn’t look like someone who has brains. Wanna wants to know if Akanee trusts Fai now that he let Kaphrao work with her, but he claims not at all, and suspects Fai is definitely trying to fire her, but he trusts Kaphrao to be able to handle her. Wanna fears those two might end up strangling each other, but Akanee claims fighting each other might make them become closer. And tells her to wait and she, he will make them love each other like real siblings. Fai tells some workers to inspect her car because the brakes feel squishy. She then tells Kaphrao that they blew up the mountain over there earlier and then put the stones into the crushing plant and sort them into different sizes. She can’t believe that Fai is really teaching her some work. Then, she misses the dump truck tickets which are with Yod, she claims and asks her to get them for her – by foot across the mountain, as she has sent away her car for repairs. And that’s where the premiere ends. _____ This was almost an hour of quick-fire banter between Fai and Kaphrao - and Fai is even more mischievous in her own story than she was in the other “elements”. This was pretty close to the novel, with Bua and Wanna appearing earlier than in written form. But the dynamic between Fai and Kaphrao is on point – and I hope them to get over their endless bantering soon so that the romance can happen, but for now, there is no end in sight. I will of course check out the next episode as well – even if “The Fire” is my least-liked of the “elements” as a novel, though I still enjoyed it.
