Episode 2 starts with the “extra conditions” which Si and Klao negotiated, but not before Klao taking a “mental break” before she’s ready to negotiate. Si want to nudge her into negotiating but all she gets is an accidental kiss as she shakes Klao. So, she plays with Pao the cat as she waits for Klao to come out of her mental break. As she plays with the cat, She drops the cat toy on Klao, the cat jump to her and she comes out of her break, but Si wanting to get the cat back, trips with her high heels and falls onto Klao, which results in two yet another accidental kisses. After these shenanigans, the real negotiations take place: Si will marry her, but with two conditions: first, they just be engaged with the lease being extended year-by-year, and second, if they eventually marry, she wants to get the land as a dowry. Klao agrees pretty much on the spot after just a question or two. Si had the document prepared in advance and Klao signs the without hesitation, so that Si’s parent don’t look down upon her anymore. She asks if she looked down upon her the day before, but Si claims that was just to prove to her family that she really can do it, so she ended up being rude to her. Klao wants to hug after signing, but Si claims she needs to adjust after the engagement. Si returns to Bangkok happy that she got the lease for now, and Klao smiles, too. Si’s father suspects that the signature was forged at first, and asks Si not to cause any more trouble, but Si maintains that the deal is real and she handled everything as promised, and argues everyone should applaud her. Song asks her if she’s really going to marry Klao, and Si confirms it with, going along with her conditions, because she knows that country girl can’t handle her, as her family can’t handle her, she claims. Klao made the wrong move, she argues, and in a few days will come begging to cancel the deal. And that will be when she gets the land for her own forever, because she will haunt her otherwise. Song thinks that Si is really cunning, and just thinking about at gives her chills. Si argues that she’s more suitable to be the CEO. But her father doesn’t entertain that notion, tells her that if it really turns out that way, they should thank her for her sacrifice, and asks Song to get the agreement to their lawyers to process – and to check whether the signature is real. Then, he leaves, and her mother as well, praising Si for doing well. But Si remains happy that she’ll become the CEO. Klao is watering the plants, waiting for Si to return as Jiu comes home on his motorcycle, and she dowses him in water as he teases her for waiting for Si, but he got back from the hospital and is hungry so she sends him inside to get some food she prepared earlier. Meanwhile, Si is getting pampered by her staff again as she wakes up early at 11 a.m. She heads into the office, where that staff is told to keep an eye on her, and not let her do anything; they are all out for a meeting, but her father sent her the credit card bills to pay for herself. But she has no money for it… …so she returns to Klao, but runs into Jiu who is blocking her way and extorting money to tell her where Klao is. He points at Klao riding a buffalo after he gets the money and stumbles over to her with her high heels, arguing who wants to live like this when she should be rich from the lease alone. Si laments to Klao about her father who has treated her badly, and she wants to scream – but Klao tells her to just go ahead as no one will hear her in the countryside. So Si does let out a scream which shocks the buffalos, but doesn’t make her feel any better. Klao wants to know what she usually does when she gets annoyed, and Si claims she goes shopping, for a spa day or just buys a new car. But she didn’t do that today, Klao argues, and Si confirms that she just drove and drove until Jiu cut her off. She stumbles again and Klao replaces her high heels with her boots better suited for the terrain, and goes on barefoot, arguing that she never got any salary, so she can’t unfreeze her credit cards with no money. Klao proposes to cook something for her, but Si argues that this is the countryside, so all she has are probably frogs, crickets and snakes, and she can’t eat that. At the farm, Si get teased by Jiu again until Klao send him off dealing with the buffalos, and Si wants to know why she hired that “annoying kid”, arguing he’s clueless and probably on drugs, but Klao argues that he has a kidney disease and goes to the hospital for dialysis almost daily. He doesn’t have parents, so she lets him stay and help out. She argues she should be kind to him, and that he’s just a little playful with her. Si’s mother comes to the office arguing with her father that Si stormed out of the office because he didn’t let her do anything, and her father confirms he gave that order. Her mother argues that this is too harsh after her agreeing to marry Klao, but her father claims that she’s not really willing and plans to deceive her, and he doesn’t like it. And he ends the conversation right there. Si meanwhile gets to talk with the help who prepares the food – and it’s grilled fields rats. Si goes away to vomit, then wants to leave, but Klao argues that couples should eat together. Si sees her family photos and Klao argues that all her brothers have influential wives, just as she has a high-society wife, but Si corrects her to fiancée. Then, the maid serves not only the rats but also two frog dishes and Si wants to vomit again and runs away. The maid reveals that this was all a joke from Klao, giving her exactly what she feared rural dishes would be. After she returns, Klao scolds her for looking down on countryside life, then proceeds to present her the real dinner food which are shrimps and Si does like that much more. At dinner, Si wants to know why she hasn’t got a rural accent, And Klao claims her grandparents are from Bangkok, and they moved to Suphan Buri (some 100km away from the capital) when her dad was still a kid, so no one in her family speaks with a rural accent. Si want to know why she lives so far away in the countryside and spills some shrimp sauce onto her, and Klao grabs a cloth and removes the stain carefully as she claims she likes it there, and asks her why she is so spoiled, and Si tells her that her parents spoilt her since she was little, and treated her like a princess, not letting her do anything but dress up and stay at home. But they recently stopped spoiling her out of the blue, and argues she should be on her side as her fiancée. Klao argues that she won’t support her when she’s wrong, but argues that she will give anything that missing and take care of her until she forgets she ever missed anything. Si claims that she says such strange things, and is it even real or just because of their contract, but Klao argues that she will do it once they’re married. She gets called to a village meeting and is off, and Si wants to leave later, but her car doesn’t work anymore. The pays jiu to fetch Klao for her, and she brings a repairman with her, but the car can’t be fixed and must be taken to the repair shop. So, Klao takes her home in a nice car which Klao borrowed from her sister-in-law because Si disliked her own car last time. She asks her if she wants to change, but her outfit fits the purpose she claims. Then, Si tells her, that she’s not looking down on her, but the society will judge her for her clothes, so if she doesn’t respect herself, who else will? Klao thinks she has a point, but thinks Si would make fun of her as well, which she confirms. Then, they drive to Bangkok. Her mother wants to know who dropped her off, and Si claims it was the one she is seeing, which her mother misinterprets as her cheating on Klao and risking the lease. Then, her father and sister come to the hallway as well in festive clothes and they want to celebrate the lease deal with the team – without her, Si argues, and declines the on-the-spot invitation her mother makes at this point to go the her room alone. Her father thinks they should just let he be – if she comes, she will only cause trouble, he argues. They leave, and Si breaks down crying in the hallway. Later, she drinks at a bar and looks at her phone again which keeps displaying the time zone of New York along that Thailand for some reason. She spends some time alone at the bar declining an offer by a random guy to sit next to her, then spends some time in front of a diner deep in thoughts as she sees a seemingly happy family pass by who have a cat. So, she drives at night back to Klao in a different car, but falls asleep on the way, and Klao gets a call notifying her of a lady passed out at the roadside. She drives immediately to the place where the car is parked and wakes her up. Si argues that the fell asleep so she parked the car where she could, and wants to know who told her she was there, but Klao argues they knew who to call for a lady with a fancy car that is uncommon in these parts of the country. Klao adjusts the passenger’s seat more than necessary 😉, then puts her belt on and drives her home. At home, Si is scared of ghosts, but Klao argues that she built the house just a few years ago, so there’s no chance of ghosts appearing. She takes her to her room, which gives Si some pause, but she accepts it as she doesn’t want to sleep in the guest room alone. Klao give her come clothes and tells her to shower, but Si is still scared of ghosts so she leaves the bathroom door open, and teel Klao not to peek, but Klao sneaks a peak anyway, then plays some Thai Country song to keep her distracted and not thinking about ghosts. Afterwards, Si and Klao lay side by side in bed, and Si warns her not to try anything funny – she can box. And then Klao switches off the lights, and they turn left and right in bed, coming to face each other really up close. And that is where the episode ends. ___ This was fun, but not all the way through, which is good because I don’t know if a could have stomached another hour of Si just acting entitled and spoiled. This episode showed that she actually has a plan, and Klao just ignores her more whacky antics and teases her quite a few times, but overall she was the most respectful of all the persons we saw today, whereas Si’s family, especially her father has apparently given up one her and treats her mainly as a nuisance they have to endure. So, it’s no coincidence that Si flees into the arms of the woman she tries to deceive into giving up the land, as she felt at home there – more than in the palace she grew up in. This is an excellent basis for them getting closer in the next episodes, and I will certainly be watching their progress. 😊
I cant wait for you to react to episode 3 and 4 so funny
Almost there!!! Thanks for recommending this by the way! ❤️
