⚠️ Please note: some print profiles use the Adaptive Layers - Smooth option. It helps achieve a nicer, smoother print, but it can make the printing time much longer.
You can of course print the clickers using your preferred settings! :)

I am riding the struggle bus with getting the dogs (particularly the collie) in the clicker housing. I followed the directions provided, but I cant get it.....anyone else have this issue? Any tips or tricks? The ones i am using are the ones that outline the dog....not the bed.
I love it. But i think i do something wrong because the mount of the dog doenst go open when i click.

Is there a trick to getting the stem into the pet bed? I've been able to force a few, but am really struggling (don't see a chat here on Patreon to ask, but signed up on MMF).
Update: Used my deburring tool to shave a little off the edges to make it fit in more easily.

The file in U1 doesn't need supports when printing, right?
Yes, it prints and works fine without supports! The surface underneath won’t be perfect, but it’s hidden and doesn’t affect how it works. You can add supports if you’d prefer a smoother finish.

Has anyone had trouble printing the border collie? I've tried 3 times and the white always messes up. I've used the same printer, filament, slot, etc on multiple prints and this one is the only one that doesn't work.

Where do you get the clickers to make the mouths to open?
If you mean the clicker, it’s a switch from a mechanical keyboard. The mechanism that opens the mouth works together with that switch.

3mf files are in the profiles folders.
What clickers do you recommend using?
I use Royal Kludge RK Blue Switches, but any other MX-style switches with the same standard size should work fine too.

These clickers are very creative! Would love to see a variety of series started first before an increase in ranks of a current series. So cats first, then maybe a small animal series (squirrel, rat, bunny, etc) and a bird series would be neat if possible.

How long is print time on these and are they cost efficient to print?
It depends on quite a few factors :) Print time will vary depending on your printer, layer height, speed settings and whether you use adaptive layers. For example, adaptive layer smoothing can make the print take noticeably longer, while standard layer settings will be faster. Printers like the H2C or Snapmaker U1 can also reduce the total print time. The cost also depends on what filament you use and how much it costs, electricity prices, your printer and print settings. I haven’t calculated the exact cost of printing these, because with the individual prints I make, it doesn’t come out very expensive. For multicolor prints, there will also be some extra filament waste from purging, so printing several pieces at once on one plate is usually more cost-efficient. There are plenty of online 3D printing cost calculators where you can enter your filament cost, electricity price and printer details to get a good estimate.
The profile for the golden in the u1 is missing the insert for the bed version. I only see the outside basket

Thank you so much for joining! For the clickers, I personally use RK Blue Switches. Other standard MX-style mechanical keyboard switches should work as well, but Blue switches give clicky feeling :)
