Have you found a levitation kit that's not 63.00?? Holy moly
Yeah, I know 😅 It’s quite expensive, and that’s actually one of the reasons why I released the model on MakerWorld - people often collect points there and exchange them for accessories like this 😉 You can definitely try searching for a cheaper levitation kit somewhere else, but it’s still pretty specialized hardware, so unfortunately it tends to cost quite a bit.
Love this design! Do you know where we can get the levitating kit that isn't $60?
I’m honestly not sure if there’s a cheaper option out there. I haven’t tested other kits, so I don’t know if they would work the same or fit properly.
you should do a rat, mouse, hamster, or guinea pig cage with tubes and hamster wheels
That’s a really fun idea! I’m adding it to my list for future projects 😊
lol this is fantastic!
This is so cute! Is there any chance you will make it without the levitation kit like just as a lamp? I would love to make this for my daughter's underwater themed bedroom, but $63 for the kit is a little pricey.
I totally understand - it is quite expensive. I think I’ll make a version as a regular lamp as well, but I can’t promise an exact timeline yet - I don’t want to commit to a specific date.
So cute.
super cool but the levitating kit is $63 from bambu
I know. Sucks because I can never make any money on something that costly because people just don’t understand costs of our materials. I want to print one without all that and still use a light in the bottom and just set him on the sand base. I have tons of the light kits that you use for the popular Moon night lights if you are familiar with those?? Anyways I am going to try. He is just way too cute not to print at least one! 🤞🏼hope it works
