Moving in 2 WEEKS?!

Hello friends! November already... where did the time go? Time flows weird when life's eventful, and mine certainly has been that.

As I've mentioned before, over the last year or so I've split my focus across studio matters, my day job, and working toward selling my house and moving back to my province of origin. It's been a lot, and Moonshell Island's progress has been slow for this and other reasons. 

Solodev is hard!

One of those reasons I mentioned in this post from April - that Moonshell Island's programmer Schotti has stepped away from the project and from Cheekynauts. Though we may still collaborate as needed to ensure continued development, Schotti is now developing Santria independently. It's important I make that clear, as some of you may have joined this Patreon to support and follow Santria's development. We only recently made this change official, but now that it is I will be removing the Santria Teaser Demo reward from this Patreon by the new year, so play it while you can and follow Santria's progress on Schotti's twitter page! I really enjoyed working with Schotti, and wish him the very best.

So yeah, Moonshell Island is still missing a programmer. But thanks to the coaching and grant funding from the Baby Ghosts program, I will soon be ready to onboard the help I need! It's taking longer than expected, in part because...

I am MOVING!!!

It seemed like this day would never come, but the hard work and stubborn dreaming has finally paid off. I'm returning to my island roots! And I'll be there in only 2 WEEKS! I can't even believe it. I gotta PACK!!

Though progress will continue to be slow while I'm in the midst of moving, I'm optimistic that Moonshell Island's development will be all the better for it once the dust settles. I'll be able to dedicate more time to the project and I'll be living in the very place that inspired the game in the first place! It's really a dream come true.

Thank you for all your patience as I've worked toward this. There are many reasons why this was important for me, some too personal to share here. Just know it means a lot to me that you've stuck around despite the lack of content. I can't wait to emerge from this and celebrate more project milestones with you soon!
