October 2024 Postcard!

Hey friends! I've received the prints for this month's postcard, which I'll be sending out to all qualifying tiers (Shooting Starfish and up) this week!

In the six months since the last postcard:

• Bryan Depuy has joined the team as Moonshell Island's programmer!

• I've wrapped up my series of demo art sprints, so all essential artwork for the MVP demo is complete!

• Getting laid off has fueled the fire under my butt, and my sights are set to make Moonshell Island pitch-ready and fundable by Q1 2025.

The theme of this postcard is a reflection of the stage we're in. With each defining step taken on this long conceptual phase of Moonshell Island's development, the path forward becomes clearer. This next leg of the race will be a challenge, but the finish line can now be seen in the distance. Hopefully by the next postcard we'll have reached it!

So now you've seen what part of my dream world looks like. What does yours look like? Happy exploring!

Your postcard pal,
Sam
