I've tried downloading the ROM from all 3 websites. One is down and the other two download as a ZIP, and when I extract or open one, I get 3 more folders: setup, lib, and renpy, all with .py files. Not sure what to do next.
those are the wrong files. it must have been from a popup, delete them immediately. I'll dm you for better help!
Thank you so much! Just one problem... I followed your tutorial and installed Mario Wonder off the first site. I put it into a folder and set that as my game directory folder in Ryujinx. I installed both keys and firmware, however, nothing happened. It said I needed 16.0.3 firmware, so I used that, but it didn't work. I thought it might be my keys, so I went to use 16.0.3 keys, but the link was busted. I have used also the newest versions of key sand firmware. I would really appreciate your help on this.
hey mason! I'd recomend using much newer keys and firmware. The base game may require 16.0.3 but thats the minimum, so anything newer will work too! and if you have an update, that update may require a much newer version
Hi, Im currently running 22.5 FW on prospero Eden ps5, however the GAME UNO does not show up altough its correctly downloaded and in its folder. any thought?
I'm not sure if emulating on PS5 has bugs or not, but i'd suggest trying a few different key/firmware versions to see if that helps, and it might be worth trying a different source for that game if it's the only one that doesn't show up

yes that redirect is safe! It's in the description as well marked as safe for nswpedia
Super dumb question but what do I do if it says you don’t own the software when I try to play it
on a modded switch you need sigpatches to play the games! otherwise it will give you that error every time. are you on 23.0.1 FW?
When I tried to download the files it cancels it and says forbidden
the link must be broken, but also make sure to use a vpn! Try another site when that happens

Hey, can you respond? I have a concern you see whenever I the games I see the file set up with a anime girl and open it. It makes my computer all weird and I think it’s malware impossible when I added to the game dictionary it just see it as a file. And I already have the newest firmware and pods. What do I do?

Thank you for providing these tutorials, but I’m having trouble emulating a game. I’ve been trying to download “Fire Emblem Three Houses”. When I try to download the NSP from NSWpedia, it’s giving me a “compressed archive” which isn’t compatible with Eden. Then I tried downloading from Switchrom but it’s taking me to “Internet Assigned Numbers Authority”. Is there a step I’m missing (I literally have zero knowledge about any of this) please let me know when you can? Thank you.

i tried on megaup too but it says It contains malware again
on nord it will say that sometimes and you can click proceed anyway. Just dont ever click proceed anyway if it says phishing. I'll dm to make sure you got it and if not i can help you out!

Hi, I followed all the directions completely, and I have deleted and re-downloaded the prodkeys, firmware, and games/updates & DLCs, and have made sure they are from the right website but when I launch my game it will say "launching" for a little while and then crash. Can you help me?

can i use just keyboard mouse on my laptop it keeps asking me for controller applet how do i choose just kb and mouse
make sure your controller is set to "pro controller" and input device should be "keyboard/mouse". You may have to configure the mouse panning in the bottom right of the settings
where can i find old firmwares? like 9 or 6
why are you looking for old firmwares? If the site says the firmmware required is 10.0, then that means any firmware released after that (aka 10.1+) will work!

I want to install a title key I got from NSWpedia onto my modded Switch via DBI so I can play it, but when I open DBI and copy the NSP file from my PC via MTP, I get an error message in red text and can’t install it. How can I install and play it without any issues?

When I try to put in a mod for Smash it says it cant read it and it doesnt show up on the addons. Do you know any fix?
which mod? some mods aren't designed for emulator but it should say in the readme file if the download had it or in the mod description. also i haven't look into this myself but i believe there might be a mod manager program for smash that could help
Playing tomodachi life using eden nightly, it works perfectly fine up until i complete the character creation and then when it loads into the game it crashes. are there any different settings i can try that might help it run
you could try changing gpu mode to fast if its not already, but i personally wouldn't expect perfect compatibility for a brand new game yet
Currently trying to download pokemon violet and its dlc on nswpedia. There are three files. Pokemon Violet 4Gb, Pokemon Violet v4.0.0.nsp 4Gb, and Pokemon Violet Dlc The Indigo Disk The Teal Mask New Uniform Set.nsp 125Kb. Do I need all three of them or just the updated 4.0.0 version and the dlc file? second question is whether or not there is a way to get the download to work faster. I have good internet and im on operaGX but the download seems capped at like 250Kb which means it will be six hours for one of the 4Gb files and I may need them both idk. Thank you in advance for your help
The game would be the first 4gb file, v4 the update so you can get all 3 if you want the update + dlc as well

I wouldn't expect it to run perfectly for a while, but you may have better luck with nightly versions of eden and changing some settings around
As of right now, what website do you use to find switch games? Like which one is the best and obviously safest, I am pretty nervous when it comes to downloading from sketchy sites so I'd like to hear it directly from you if you wouldn't mind.
i really prefer Nswpedia, but like all sites, not every game will be available so if that site doesn't have a direct download link that works, then i try to find it on switchrom. net instead

NSWPedia looks to have been hijacked possibly as of April 22? Tried installing a Pokemon Scarlet/Violet rom and the redirect was to a seriously dodgy looking MediaFire link.
sometimes the direct links aren't available and they have other ones with pop-ups, so its best to use another site for any games where its not a direct link on nswpedia

hi, thnx for your work! i just got subscribed and finally got my switch games to work again on my pc, for a second i thought i was gonna lose them all hehe.. anyways, i was wondering, im trying to run this game called under the island, but everytime i try to, it just crashes and closes down ryujinx.. does the same for other games as well, such as super mario galaxy 1 and 2... do you know how to make these games to work iso to crash the whole application?
If it's happening with lots of games, try installing a newer version of keys and that might help! Also if you're willing to try eden emulator sometimes it works better

Following along with you and the PiratedGames subreddit megathread. NXBrew seems to be the consensus to download from but I am getting a little sus'd out by being redirected to external links - thoughts?
nxbrew is good too, but I prefer nswpedia because it has direct download links without pop-ups. Also nswgame using megaup links is very predictable, with pop-ups that you can see in my video, so its easier to know when to exit out lol but any site can potentially have pop-up sites so its important to exit out as soon as you can. Sometimes sites will have shortened url's that take you to sites that then re-direct you to the actual download link.

It depends on the site but most will say what the lowest firmware you'll need is! Newer firmwares generally work for most games though!
how do you randomise pokemon games?
you can find mods on the game banana website, and set them up as i do in my video guiides! (usually right click game, open mod directory, place the mod in)
people. use firefox with the uBlock addon. use a vpn, i use nordvpn. click the file you want to download and wait for that link to load and then download the file. if that link > links to some other bs site, go back and do it again. don't start downloading from some other site.

it can depend on the game, but you may have to try a different site on my list

you can use the other links if you need, but those might be more likely to have pop-ups so be careful

You had me worried lol but no, I just checked, and the top 3 I suggest are all fine and working. It's normal for specific game links to get taken down sometimes (which is why I show you 3 main site options)
I'm having trouble finding Pokken Tournament DX on a working site. The sites that do have it only lead to Healthshield or random popup with non-working links.
The MegaUp link from NswGame worked for me, but watch my video to understand the pop-ups and you have to disable adblock too

it will only depend on which games you want to play. Some sites like nswpedia & switchrom .net tell you the version needed for the specific game to work! So, really, if you get one of the most recent keys/firmware, most games should run off it

Hey, I saw that in another comment you said we didn't need to combine the base game and update file. So just to make sure I understand correctly, all I have to do once I have the files for both, is to place the base game in one folder, and the update in another folder in whatever master folder I use to store my emulator files, right? I'm using Ryubing btw if that changes your answer.
Also, do you know if the same applies if there are Mod Collections available too? I'm using switchrom .net to get Tears of the Kingdom if you need to see what it is I'm talking about. I don't know if there's a different process for Mod Collections.

I'm new to emulation and this removes the stress of finding game file sources. How do I combine the base game and the updates? Do I just put the XCI and NSP files in the same Switch folder under ROMs? I'm planning to put all these files in a AYN Thor
You don't have to combine them into one file. If you're using eden/citron on your Thor, you can install each file and the updates/dlc will auto apply to the game :)
