Just to let you know, the Olympic Games video was actually my suggestion; I didn't want you to react to the whole 4 hours, just the performance parts. I couldn't find a video that showed just that so I chose this full version. I think probably half of it (or more) is stuff like the athletes being introduced and the typical Olympic committee speeches etc. Don't bother with that stuff. 🙂
There was something very special about that 2012 opening ceremony. Loved the music
No wonder I don't hangout on Patreon a lot...it's handbags at dawn...
Same @Shitehawk(Tim) . Patreon sits on the fringes of batshittery at the best of times!
To clarify, the ceremony lasts 4 hours, because at least 2 hours of that is the athlete walk in. That's easily fast forwardable, and there's only about 20 minutes of ceremony after that at the end.
Ahh okay, thank you. Would someone want to check it out and see what time we could come in at to watch, then? We can do it, but I don’t want to accidentally skip too far and then watch stuff we should be reacting to. Unless everyone thinks the one Andy R linked below is a good replacement? Thoughts, everyone?
The closing ceremony of London 2012 is worth a look too, although there is a spoiler for one of your shows in it so best leave that one a few months.
I feel like London 2012 was the last hurrah before everything went to s**t! I get quite emotional watching it back now. It's absolutely fantastic and I was lucky enough to have been there to see it in person!
This one of London 2012 is 47.10 long so is probably a better bet https://www.youtube.com/live/H2VPSjHnc2E?is=puOtKLxVYjwTSL_4
Thank you! That is much more manageable. ❤️
Woooaaahhh you guys. 4 hours?? That’s one of our entire two days of recording. We can’t do that for one video. Is there a highlights reel or a shortened version, or where is a good starting or stopping point? We can’t watch videos that are over 2 hours, and even those need to be limited. We only have 8 hours a week to record everything.
You silly billies
The Olympics video in the playlist is 4 hours long... Good luck.
The complete London 2012 is like 4 hrs. We don't need to see all the nations teams arriving and all that
I used to watch the 2012 olympics opening ceremony every morning while on a treadmill for about a month. Strange I know.
Olympics was great!
I loved it. Especially the music.
That SAS jungle rescue is absolutely amazing i hope that wins the poll
London 2012 Opening ceremony was one big satanic ritual. Still a great show tho
It was the BEST Olympic opening Ceremony in History.
