We Lost $20,000 Worth of Footage

The first Behind-the-Scenes video from an episode that will never exist - because somehow, nobody knows how, we lost half the footage from The Worst Reviewed Hotel in New Zealand video.

We woke up to our first slap in the face of the day - no running water. But that won’t stop us, because today we are filming the worst-reviewed hotel in New Zealand!

Peter suits up as a real estate agent trying to "sell" this worst-reviewed hotel, because honestly, at first glance, it doesn’t look bad at all. But the plot twist hits when "normal" Peter shows up and starts revealing why this place is actually the worst-rated hotel out there! In this BTS, you’ll see a ton of raw footage showing exactly how we filmed these scenes and the chaos that happened behind the camera.

You’re in for scenes like Bogdan accidentally spitting on himself, and a morning skit where Sasha randomly appears in bed! 😂 Then we head outside to explore the kids' playground. At first, it was so overgrown we couldn't even walk in. The next day, someone quickly mowed it (probably because they saw us trying to film), but it was still just a wrecked, unusable junkyard.

The absolute peak of awkwardness hit at the empty pool. While we were shooting a scene next to it in our bizarre swimsuits, a neighbor from the apartment next door walked by. He just stared at us, and when we tried to ask him something, he completely froze and walked away without saying a single word! 💀👙

The next day, we shoot the intro and hit the road to Auckland, killing time in the car with some singing and dancing. 🎤🚗 We check in, shoot our landmark walking scene right in front of the iconic Sky Tower, and then get to work on the hotel video.
