Eating at The Worst Reviewed Restaurant in France 🇫🇷
Dear Patrons,
In the final episode of Season 2, we're heading to the south of France, to the city of Carcassonne. But we're not here to play the famous board game of the same name. We've got a much more unpleasant mission ahead of us.
Behind the walls of its beautiful medieval castle lies the worst reviewed restaurant in the entire country.
The reviews promise not only French specialties that'll have you running to the bathroom, but something even worse - claims that young children are being employed there illegally.

Super videjko, len je mi veľmi ľúto, že pri konfrontácii ste jej nepovedali aj o ostatných veciach: 1. Niekoľkohodinové čakanie na lístok a hlavné jedlo 2. Úplne krvavý steak, keď mal byť well done 3. Najhoršia kačka vášho života 4. Hnusný losos s množstvom kostí 5. Špinavá podšálka 6. Instantná káva, zima v reštaurácii 7. Že dievča sa samo priznalo, že má 15 8. Veľmi zlé recenzie od ľudí (čiže nie len závisť konkurencie) 9. Prehnaná cena vzhľadom na "kvalitu" jedla, pitia a služieb Podľa mňa práve konfrontácia je najzaujímavejšia časť takýchto videí, preto mi to tam dosť chýba... Ak sa môžem spýtať, prečo ste tam tieto veci vynechali? A ešte mi napadlo, že na úplný záver ste jej mohli povedať aj to, že točíte recenzie o najhoršie a najlepšie hodnotených podnikoch. ...Inak sa mi ale video páčilo a teším sa na budúce :)
Ak by nám nešiel vlak do Marseille (kde sme mali točiť ďalší deň), všetko by bolo. Nečakali sme, že v reštaurácii strávime toľko hodín :D + situáciu sťažovala aj naša zlá francúzština a pocit, že manažérku zdržujeme, pretože tam mala veľa hostí. Pri konfrontáciách v reštaurácii sa toto občas stáva, nedokážeme manažéra/majiteľa úplne odizolovať a tie naše nekončiace negatívne dotazy spoločne s časovým stresom nakoniec spôsobia, že sa nedostaneme ku každej otázke, ktorú máme pripravenú. Polepšíme sa.

I think the video is missing a good confrontation. You were mentioning all the things you did not like or that annoyed you, but in the confrontation with the owner almost nothing was mentioned. Having the 'awkwardness' of a good confrontation would make the video also more enjoyable, as it rounds out the story. This video left me wondering, is the purpose of the worst reviewed to simply show what the places are like, or the confrontation with the owner? Storytelling was not clear enough on this. Leaving out the gen z edits would make the videos more timeless and more enjoyable for older generations, (its going to age fast because of the edits), while you are mentioning that worst reviewed is a legacy. For this particular video, you could have asked the waitress if she gets paid for her work, more questions about the food could/should have been asked, it could have been mentioned that it was freezing cold inside, and maybe even police could have been contacted about the children working there. I wrote this review to support you, not to demean your work. Thank you
We completely agree, this was one of the weirder confrontations, because none of us speaks good French and the manager was in a hurry, so every additional question felt super annoying and we felt she had to take care of the customers. We also had a train to Marseille to catch. We actually arrived with plenty of time to spare, but we ended up spending two hours longer at the restaurant than we expected (because of the slow service :D). If we had missed that train, it would’ve completely messed up our filming schedule for the rest of the French episodes.
I guess it's time to replace Jurij's scraper if you're able to find even worse ratings than the scraper itself 😂

Inability to speak english properly just completes the entire image of slavic folk. 😍😅
The use of "entrée" here is disturbing to French-speakers because it means starters in French but main dish for Americans. Other places tend to side with the French on that point. Regarding the cooking of the steak, it's quite typical of low level restaurants in France, they just smear the steak and call it a day. For a well done, they just smear it a little longer, that's it. The rest looked awful even if you were looking for trouble ordering cassoulet. Re child work, the subtitles are misleading, she says that they're 18 and 19, not 10. It's illegal to employ someone but it's legal for kids to occasionnaly help their parents in their restaurant, providing that it's not a regular thing or replacing an employee, which seems to be the case here. It might be worth contacting the DGCCRF.
That's the point, the manager was obviously lying about the age as the server herself told us she was 15, not 18/19
Tak to ste našli riadny skvost toto. Už cez kameru bolo vidieť tú frustráciu. Za toto by som kľudne aj tú sociálku zavolal.
