In today’s episode, we’re changing our strategy for finding the worst places for the very first time. We’re leaving Tripadvisor behind and putting our trust in a scraping tool built by our IT genius, Jurij, which searches the entire country - including small towns and remote villages.
And thanks to Jurij, we’ve found a hotel with the lowest rating in our show’s history: just 1.1 stars.
The reviews suggest this is going to be unlike anything we’ve experienced before.

As a French speaking Belgian, I am amazed at your level in French. With Czech, English, Spanish, it's impressive. Reading the description, I did understand that it would be a homestay kind of thing and that I would be a guest in a family. It's both good and bad. It's great if you speak French and want to get in touch but I wouldn't use that for work travel for example. However, I too would have missed the "important information" and would have been pissed if asked for a €500 deposit. That being said, the Cote d'Azur is famous for being a tourism hellhole. Tourists behave like crap and therefore, people renting are insufferable. There is huge contrast between south and north of Provence. One will make sure that you signed the contract and gave a deposit while the north will tell you that the key is under the mat and that you'll sort out the contract on exit. 😆

This really seems like a nice place to stay at only suffering from low transparency. That skit with Bogdan hitting yor head in the intro and him on the toilet were hilarious.
