The Valiant Pacer E31 was a performance option for the 1970 VG Hemi Pacer, featuring a 2-barrel Carter carburetor and producing around 195-210 bhp. It was part of the "Track Pack" and included other performance enhancements like a hotter cam, baffled sump, and a strengthened crank and rods. This option offered a significant power increase over the standard Pacer and was a predecessor to the even more powerful four-barrel E34 model.
E31 "Track Pack" key features
Engine: 245 cubic inch Hemi inline-six
Carburetor: 2-barrel Carter carburetor
Horsepower: Approximately 195-210 bhp
Internal upgrades: Hotter cam, baffled sump, and strengthened crank and rods
Transmission: Paired with the standard 3-speed manual gearbox
