Some folks have asked me what I think about the Scribe Pack and Guild Vault before the pledge manager closes, so I recorded a casual ad hoc video to share my thoughts for anyone who’s interested!

A short video about Botse not being a narrative campaign game would be great, nothing new to some people but I am always interested anyway- might get some new viewers. With my Skyrim video gameplay experience i came into this game initially with very specific hopes/expectations for the story. I was v disappointed by the story and text (and the art in the books). However once i got hooked on the huge dice range and the fun of the gameplay decisions I really no longer cared it wasn’t a recreation of the video games.
I was actually thinking of something similar to my recent Grimcoven Overview video (https://youtu.be/lJrTIKuPaqs), so not exactly “short”, haha. Just an opinion-free general overview of what the game is and how it plays. The tricky part is that filming and editing this kind of video takes a huge amount of time, so I’m trying to gauge whether the community thinks it would be useful at all, particularly for people who are completely new to the game 🙂
Good point about transportation of the Guild vault. The magnetic map looks really cool and useful- saves space on the table
