Would you watch a “What Is [Game Name]?” video?

Hey guys, I got an interesting comment recently on YouTube from someone who enjoys my TES and Slay the Spire content but feels a bit lost when watching the Grimcoven videos because they don’t already know the game.

That got me thinking about a potential new video format:

What Is [Game Name]?

The idea would be a roughly 10–15 minute video that simply explains what the game is and how it works at a high level. No review, no opinions, no buyer’s guide, no strategy guide, and no tutorial. Just a straightforward overview designed to help someone understand the game and follow future videos more easily. As simple as that sounds, I haven’t actually seen any videos like that! (typically, “how the game works” is just one section within a review or first impressions video, but that’s not really the same thing).

For example, that could be:

* What Is Grimcoven?

* What Is The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era?

* What Is Lands of Evershade?

* What Is Too Many Bones?

Do you think that’s a good idea at all?

Would you watch a video like that for Grimcoven? Would you watch one for TES, even if you already know the game?

Or do you feel that reviews, guides, and playthroughs already cover that purpose well enough?

Curious to hear your thoughts before I spend time experimenting with the format 🙂
