PawPad Palace — A Day on Her Paws 🐾 Preview
Faye's everyday life and her time in the spa are starting to connect much more closely.
This update grew into one of the bigger changes to PawPad Palace so far.
Faye now has workdays and days off, leaves her home on Willow Lane, heads to the café, spends her day there, and eventually returns home.
More importantly, what happens during that day can now affect how she arrives for care.
Weather matters. Footwear matters. Where she's been matters. Even how demanding her day was can leave visible traces.
By the time Faye puts a paw in front of you, it may already have a story to tell.
Her day can now show on her paws
A warm or demanding workday can leave her paws sweaty. Closed shoes help protect her soles from dirt, while barepaw time outside can leave dust behind.
And if rain has actually left the soil wet, walking through it can mean muddy paws later.
The game doesn't simply decide that rain equals mud. The conditions have to make sense.

Cleaning, footwear and new scent choices
Cleaning is now part of normal visits.
Sponge, Rinse and Towel join the familiar massage tools, with the Brush available for more stubborn mud.
There is no score, timer, or requirement to make her paws perfectly spotless. Care remains freely paced.
Footwear is part of the visit now, too. If Faye arrives wearing shoes, you can let her remove them herself or help her with a gentle pull.
Scent is another choice.
You can leave Faye's natural scent as it is, reduce it locally with the towel, or add one of three fictional botanical blends: Warm Evening, Rain Garden, or Quiet Wood.
And she can remember
The detail I'm happiest about is that some of these choices can now carry forward.
If Faye actually experiences Warm Evening and tells you she'd like it again, she can remember that on a later visit.
She's beginning to have a little usual of her own.
That's the direction I want to keep building: attractive paws you want to spend time caring for, but also someone whose routines, preferences and little habits you're gradually learning.
