Day 9/30 π Fully Articulated Forest Dragon | September Model-a-Day Challenge
Day 9 of my September Challenge is here! πΏπ
Iβm releasing ONE NEW 3D PRINTABLE MODEL EVERY DAY throughout September - and for Day 9/30, meet the Fully Articulated Forest Dragon!
This fantasy dragon features a fully articulated body with lots of movement, while the legs can rotate independently to give you even more freedom when posing it.
Iβve also prepared two different head versions so you can choose the look you prefer. One comes with printable eyes, while the second is specially designed to accept 8 mm glass eyes for a completely different look. π
The head prints separately and needs to be attached after printing, while the articulated body is ready to move straight from the build plate.
9 models down, 21 to go! π

The body is fully articulated, and the legs can rotate, allowing you to experiment with different poses once everything is assembled.
π¨ Make Your Own Forest Dragon
I went with a green forest-inspired color scheme, but this design leaves plenty of room for experimentation. πΏ
Try earthy greens and browns for a woodland dragon, bright tropical colors, darker fantasy combinations, or create an entirely new dragon species of your own!

what filament/s did you use?
Hey James, this was "Prusament PLA GAlaxy Green"
Hi, Where do you get the glass eyes from? thanks
I usually just look for them on AliExpress. Search for β8mm reptile glass eyesβ and youβll find a large variety. I believe you can also find similar glass eyes on Amazon.
Okay thank you I have never printed your stuff yet I absolutely love your lizards too
Thanks so much! π I just added a video of this dragon to the post, so take a look! And thank you for the kind words about my lizards too! π¦
And is the tail articulated to
Yep, fully articulated
If I donβt have glass eyes can I still print it
Yes, i made two head versions, one prepared for 8mm glass eyes, and another has eyes modeled and ready to be printed.
