Honestly, it depends... how big spoilers are we talking about? Tyler, you already know this is going to spread like wildfire and it'll be really, really hard to avoid the spoilers being spread by assholes & people that hate VR...

In my opinion these aren't spoilers at all, world building elements and locations without context aren't going to ruin the story for anybody. If its made clear what is in the video, it will be just fine to upload.

Imo this is okay, it's not too much, since I don't think these are story spoilers. If they are (if you were spoiled you would know which one are) then this could explain your wording in the title. But for me, it's basically just a prop list, do it should be fine.

The only spoilers I am caring about are those, that spoil the story; as for me I don't even consider some of this to be spoilers. So, in my humble opinion, this video can be posted, maybe with some disclaimer in the beginning.

I honestly don't think revealing some location names and enviromenal lore, even appearing characters could lessen the game experience. (But I can imagine it having a positive effect, as trying to speculate about new stuff is alway exciting.) I think some people are just overly obsessed with the game because they don't have much interesting going on in their lives...

As long as you stick to things that aren't story spoilers, and don't infer anything from what you know about the story, you should be fine imo, but tread lightly since people are agitated over what you said, and maybe add a spoiler bump at the beginning.

I think you should just pivot the video to be about the non-spoiler assets and how cool they look. Could also talk about cool maps people are making with the assets and maybe have some of the more experienced people help you give a tour of the news tools to get ready before release. "Getting Ready For Half-Life: Alyx Mapping" or "Preparing for Half-Life: Alyx and its tools"

I think since you originally said you were not going to post any spoilers you probably shouldn't. You dont want bad actors using your work to ruin someone elses enjoyment. Btw keep working hard.

i think the video should not be published for several reasons. any spoilers will spread like wildfire to all over. and people are going to specifically blame you for it

Absolutely. I have to say, the wording in your original approach to the video did not help the situation. So long as you're not speculating on story (due to you being spoiled) all should be fine.)
