Overconfident Exorcist 1.02 Dev Log
Before we get started
As you all know we are switching to a monthly format, previously it did not make sense to do dev logs but I suppose it makes much more sense to hold these now! Before we get into things, the Overconfident Exorcist Chibis are now emotes in the discord if you have not joined :D
I have had finals the past week, but I would like to announce I have completed all the work I needed to do! The next couple days I plan to spend working on the update :)
New Locations
I have not completed every location in the next update, but the ones completed are the following. Including collisions!
Violet's Forest Area
(Inside still needs to be completed)
Forest Middle Area
(I plan for this area to connect to Violet's Forest Area, as well as a few others relating to other girls in the future ^^ this will be the primary fast travel point)
Electronic store
(Can buy things for Selene here, depending on the quest. Yet to be made, but I plan to have a new Selene content this update)
New Scenes
There will be a new Pissing begging event, this one will pass one time slot and pay the same as the others that pass one. This time there will be a vanilla pussy licking option as well.
Since the poll only had 4 options, I plan to include them all in the update. The next scene poll I run will include more options so it doesn't feel like it had no impact.
That does mean all four of these options will be included!

Fixes and Changes
This is what I have spent quite a lot of time this update as a lot of people were having issues as well as a few complaints
Dim Backgrounds on scenes instead of the base windowed
I went through every single scene and replaced the windowed backgrounds with dim ones, so you won't have to struggle to see parts of the scene now. This took longer than expected but it should be worth it, this will also be dim backgrounds for all future scenes
Highlighted items
I believe I have already shown these off, and I finished these a while back. It seemed good to mention quickly once more.
Items that are interactable will have these shiny bits around them, I made them myself in Asprite to avoid any sort of RPGM assets.
Too long of a file path issue
The following ended up happening to quite a lot of people, the issue was identified pretty quickly. The fix was me moving every single file and replacing every tile set with redefined paths to a smaller one. It took forever, but it will not be an issue any more for 1.02!
