Image creating
I want to give you a bit of an idea of how much work goes into a single image sometimes, using this one as an example :D
Not every image takes this long or this much effort, but still, around 60% of all images need serious extra work.
Here's specifically what had to be done for this image:
Set up a tricky pose (every single bone on the character), and make sure the pose actually reads well in frame.
Fix clothing artifacts (Lona's skirt was clipping into her legs, the client's shirt was sticking out all over the place).
Set up the client's pose.
Set up camera pose and focus spot.
Get the lighting right (the bar scene itself was already built earlier, but I still need to add extra light sources to make the characters pop).
Find, buy, and add props (like these keys, for example).
Pose each key individually based on gravity.
Eye positioning, editing the floorboard textures (extra step just for this shot), and cleaning up issues in Photoshop (including blur for the light sources and other artifacts).
Then actually rendering the image (takes anywhere from 4 to 11 minutes).
Converting the image from PNG to WEBP.
And dozens of other little things I honestly can't even remember right now.
And that's all just for ONE image.
So please don't ask me "why does it take so long." Because damn it, I like doing things properly xD
