Might be your best work

That is pretty much something that I was kind of thinking of how they could probably move forward with Tau'va, given it would be an alternative the Tau could use as a means of having the more religious members of the auxiliaries have their religious beliefs be more in line with the Greater Good philosophy. And Shadowsan would be less of someone who leads the Tau down a religious path and more so just being someone the Tau Empire could use as a sort of religious figurehead for said auxiliaries. If that makes sense.

O’Shen trying to say the same thing to a Black Templar or a Trooper of Krieg would be funny.

Irony is that, to some degree, he IS correct in what Big E wanted for humanity (and current IoM is NOT that), and TBH, those who lose faith in their superiors are quite easy to convert, especially by someone whose entire reason for existence is manipulating others...

This reminded me of another older comic, Diplomatic Mission, where Mara and O´Shen are speaking to a noble. Are we going to see more of that comic? i would very much love see O´Shen and Mara interacting with other species and cultures.

The hopping nose tube

That is a beautiful threatening. The Empire really makes social reengineering easy for the Tau, some times, don't they, terrible as conditions are.

The irony is that he could genuinely care for humans and what's good for them, but since he knows she's too xenophobically distrustful to believe that, he carefully phrased his question and subsequent answer to her question so that he deceptively confirms her belief in a way that comes across as "I know you're too smart to believe this pretense, so I'll respect your intelligence by being honest". And that, of course, doesn't mean that he isn't also motivated by not wanting to be wasteful.

Look he's being eminently reasonable here

I love so much how you're not only a talented artist, but also a person who actually reads books and lore. This stripe made me think on so many different scenes. The gue'vesa spy in "Rogue Trader Omnibus" who still wears and eagle pendant and says "I love the Emperor, not the Imperium". The Ethereal in "The Book of Martyrs" trying to coopt a Sister of Battle and thinks on using Imperial faith as a tool. Aun'va, after Damocles Crusade, spurring T'au Empire to multiply their efforts to spread Greater Good philosophy, even using religion if necessary. Well done, as usual!

Yesssss Oh i so wished we saw more of the Tau co-opting the Imperial Cult rather than suppressing it. Propagating the belief that the Emperor is for the Greater Good, but its the evil mutant astartes and the corrupt Lords of Terra that soiled his Vision.

Been far too long since O’Shen did Water Caste things.

I love how you protray the Water Caste! It's so unsettling and interesting.
