I guess this is where the obsession and one-sided crush started (This is the same magos who swapped the one of the gears of his and her body as a twisted way to always being with him)

I love how you present real life issues in this comic. I remember watching decades ago documentary about people who had issues where they saw their own body parts as "problem" and wanted them gone (usually foot or hand or finger), it made me look at dysphoria issues with different eye. Might be reason why I support trans community so much, since those of them who feel like they are in wrong body have acceptance issues I can't even start to comprehend.

Can this love story really be called "toxic" if they're overcoming the weakness of the flesh together? (Yes it very much is)

Now will she actually augment him, or will she lie to give him false security?

Why does this seem slightly sinister?

I didn’t get that vibe.

The hard part to believe is that she (he?) would even object at all.

To Magos Biologis, Space Marine's body is (biological) machine itself > Ys spoke in a measured, confident manner, as if her speech had been long prepared. ‘The body of a Space Marine is the most perfect human form ever created,’ she said. > ‘Even our skitarii, given every augmetic aid known to us, do not compare to it in power and facility. You can imagine what degree of mental trauma would be required for a human to give up such a gift, to mutilate himself and replace his priceless gene- forged heritage with mechanical parts.’
