Decaying

Absolute chills. I genuinely think this is my favourite of your creations.
This is simply peak🔥🔥
You understand every faction so well, you are able to explain their hopes, fears and failures in such a simple and straightforward manner, keep it up.
Honestly as someone who understand the choice of the necron I think you portrayed well how they got dooble scamed. Not mentioning that paradoxaly they became more mortal as a species! They might endure much but can still be destroyed. But cannot brieng a New génération to life anymore
Yes! That's such an important point withe necron to me! Remind me of m'y father talking about his mother who had alzheimer. He said that hé was absolutly broken when she start no remembering him even getting scared of him. (M'y dad is a really big scary man yet it didn't stop her from scolding him before) He told me that hé cryed a lot at that time despite being quite though but when she passed he didn't shed a tear. It was not the same person to him his mom had already died.
Beautiful work!
I love how you point out "catch" in various WH40k lore/fandom. silly jokes that, when you think about them, become a "bit" more serious than it looks at first. Like recent "ork innocence", yes ork's are silly and goofy, until you're on receiving end of ork WAAAAAAGH and feel all that "silliness" on your skin.
On that point, I agree with Sherlock Holmes. The brain is a limited storage space—whether made of flesh or platinum—and immortality requires a vast amount of storage space. Furthermore, over the course of eons, simple commands—such as breathing, or refraining from taking the flesh of the living to make a coat out of it—can glitch, be deemed obsolete, and be erased.
This one necron understands it. They’re always going to decay, but at least when they’re mortal the decay can end.
This guy gets it
Brilliant. One catch though: the Lord seems to be reaching out with his left hand, but actually GRABs with his right hand.
Excellently Done.
Two things: Page 1, "We no longer live under death we feared so much" is awkwardly phrased. May I suggest "We no longer live under the specter of death that we feared so much"? Page 4: You misspelled "Szarekhan" as "Szerekhan".
I need to fix that... As for the first pg let's see I can fit that inside speech balloon
So much great content lately! I had this idea that the Tau represent humanity's past, and the necrons represent our future. If we don't go extinct, eventually we'll have to make some horrible bargain to live on, becoming machines and losing our souls. Maybe sometimes dead is better...
Necrons unfortunately for them fell for the main drawback of immortality, not being able to die makea you go either in madness or you become an husk of your former self, the technology and culture don't advance because if you don't have a time limit you just "procrastinate" everything forever
Yep its why Trazyn and the other 'sane' ones tend to be shown obsessing about something or other. That thing/duty/goal is what helps keep them (mostly) sane.
as someone who watched his great-grandfather in the late stages of dementia, losing his mind over nothing and barely able to recognize the people around him and who decided at a very young age that he himself would rather die young than ever experienced that this hits very close to home.
This is very powerful.
This is fucking awesome
Welp, way to highlight one of my biggest fears, not the dying, the old age...
The man makes a very important point.
Another banger as always, wise and mighty Phaeron Feyn
I've gone from Water Caste to a Phaeron for now... a huge promotion in rank I'd say :)
