given how completely ass many if not most people's parents genuinely are in the real world, I have to wonder if the Tau aren't on to something. Of course, on the other hand, teachers are supposedly educated to teach and to some degree help raise children and a lot of them are terrible at it too.
Yeah I don't think it's black and white... There is certain merits about Tau's way of raising, as ours does

They're probably undergo long-term training about raising unlike parents since rasing children is their job (Tau normally raise children communally)

Oh Shen, you don't have to be a biological father to be a father. Granted valuing the family over the greater good is not the Tau way.

Considering my upbringing, yeah the tau might have the right idea on that one, or at the very least, many people should simply not have children.
