Crystal's Birthday Postcards
Crystal is coming to stay in Calgary for a couple months and will be here for her birthday, so she has requested I get all y'all to send her postcards from your hometown. Don't second guess "well, my hometown is boring", just send!

Card on it's way... Our postal service is notoriously bad though .. a few years ago all post from official sources here went digital.. meaning our post service could not survive on only "get well" greetings .. kept raising the price and finally have up.. now it's a parcel delivery service that tries their hand at it.. so would not be surprised if it never turns up 🤣
i am losing my mind. i have had a postcard locked and loaded ready to send for a week but i CANNOT for the life of me find a post office that has a single stamp that could send it to canada. they only have those large stickers that would cover the whole postcard. what is going on
I sent a postcard! Hope it gets to Canada from Iceland at a reasonable time lol
Damn, I wanted to send a postcard from my serene hometown (https://www.ahojprzygodo.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/241101145607-ahoj-przygodo-blog-polanica-zdroj-park-zdrojowy.jpg), and add a bottle of our mineral water as a small gift, but apparently the couriers and post offices freak out when you do that and would rather transport live ammunition, because a water bottle could pop under pressure. Why are they denying us the joy of sending some sparkling water through critical trade infrastructure?

Is her birfday before or after Pax west? Because if it's after I could just hand you the card there and save both postage and the vagaries of international postal delivery
