Behind the Scenes of "Why was I invited to Beast Studios?"
We shot some BTS footage during the filming and Jessica cut it into a little EPK for us.
'EPK' is the industry name for behind-the-scenes stuff, it stands for "electronic press kit" and encompasses all the little featurettes that you find on DVDs. The core use is that they're the source of pull quotes and interview clips that press can use in their coverage, but they even used to get aired in full on TV sometimes, often as late night filler or to pad scheduling blocks if the TV version of the movie didn't quite line up right, then of course they became a big value-add for home video releases with LaserDisc, DVD, etc.

only $6k? i'm honestly surprised
with more equipment than the olympics?
Looking kinda like Alton Brown in that suit, now that I think of it.
I just watched the MrBeat (no typo) podcast and it made me think that a directors commentary would be really interesting for this (and other) videos
I think the pocket square looks great.
Talked about the video to my brother. He does not The YouTube, nor the nerdom, and even he stopped me to ask “wait, shouldn’t they already know how to make a fandom?”
laserdisc mentioned
Can you please link the video in the text of the post? Patreon's embedded YouTube player is nonfunctional for me on mobile.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEvAhLl16P4 is the link
Looks like that day was a lot of fun!
i do love "labatt world records"
That was a fun little look behind the scenes. Thank you. What was that about an essay on 35mm film? Sounds interesting.
Not sure if it’s the one he meant, but the one I was able to find that fit the bill is one by Stand-up Maths. Fittingly, the video itself is about different types of film stock. https://youtu.be/QYUE696k6GY?si=bMe-lu41fDco1FiU
Omg it's the largest BTS crew on a video about Beast Studies EVER!!!!!!!
Now we all wait for Jimmy to message you to ask for further feedback!
Did you have 16 people shooting it though
They stumbled over the dozen scattered GoPros and dieded.
A great BTS would be some introduction to the crew and folks that have come onboard and contribute. Love this set of clips though.
Just here to second this idea (If they're comfortable being on camera of course)!
