RePlayOS 1.8.0 Update Now Available
The new RePlayOS update is now available. Existing installations require a small one-time manual step before starting the OTA update.
Older versions of the updater use a temporary RAM location that is too small for the new update. The attached repair script changes the updater to use storage space instead and allows the OTA process to complete correctly.
Before updating
Download the attached file:
replay_updater_ota_repair.sh
Copy it into your RePlay Extra (roms/_extra) folder.
Open RePlay Extra and execute the repair script.
When the script reports that it has completed, reboot RePlayOS.
After rebooting, start the OTA update normally.
This repair only needs to be performed once. If you previously attempted the update and it failed, run the repair script, reboot, and try the OTA update again.
The OTA also includes updated GPIO joystick and DPI DAC drivers compatible with the new Linux kernel.
Fresh installation option
Later today, a new full RePlayOS ISO will also be published on the download page.
You can therefore choose between:
Running the OTA update after applying the attached repair script, preserving your existing installation and configuration.
Downloading the new ISO and performing a fresh installation.
Thank you for supporting RePlayOS!

My Raspberry Pi 3B doesn't recognize my TV with this version, but it works perfectly with version 1.6.
Where do I find the replay_bios_v9.zip download? Is this yet to be uploaded?
In the Telegram channel. Maybe it is also in archive.org but I do not manage any of those
Loaded up GOW Chains of Olympus and its running incredibly well. Great work!
