New GunCon2 Driver Released!

Hi everyone,

I’ve released an updated version of the GunCon2 driver for all compatible systems, including RePlayOS, GroovyArcade, and MiSTer.

This new driver significantly improves tracking precision thanks to several enhancements based on newly reverse-engineered protocol codes, which provide firmware-level information about the following states:

• Unexpected light

• No light / busy

• Idle

The driver now also reports offscreen status through a virtual EVDEV BTN_EXTRA button, making it easy to use in emulators or frontends.
