Pride - Unique boss D&D

Hey everyone! You voted for the first sin to become a unique boss, and Pride is here. 👑

“I don’t need a throne to stand above you.”

Pride starts at CR 8, the lowest in this series, but don’t let that fool you. He chooses one character as his rival and challenges them to a duel. If they hit him, they leave him open to the rest of the party. If they don’t, his next attacks become more dangerous. That gives the players plenty of room to plan, protect each other, and take risks.

He also has two one-time Cinematic Actions triggered by what the players do, so the fight can take a few unexpected turns. :)
