EXP Update - November 2025

Hello!

Chris here, with your monthly update from EXP Towers, and beyond! A few things to catch you up on.

New Merch!

First of all, due to overwhelming (some) demand, we have returned our Cursed! Collection to the shelves, with two new additions to the arsenal - an uncomfortably Bullpupped Sterling and the now infamous Glompson.

These two new designs feature on a revised version of the Cursed Pint Glass, as well as our brand new Cursed Mug and Cursed Poster designs.

Also new to the poster roster is our LA285 Video Game Inventory Poster, expanding on @hat_legs design to include a suite of attachments and stats - it's sure to attract many a double-take and confused glance.

But that’s not all! If you have a particular favourite among our lineup of cursed guns, you can now get a fetching ‘Single Shot’ (ho ho ho) edition shirt with your weapon of choice front and tastefully off-centre.

The second bit of merch news is that - and I still can’t quite believe this a reality - we have a Christmas jumper.

That’s right, we’ve once again teamed up with the brilliant @hat_legs to create a festive treat unlike any other: the very first EXP Christmas (Cursemas) jumper. Featuring knitted silhouette versions of all of your favourite cursed weapons, the jumper comes in a seasonal red and green and is an actual, proper knitted jumper.

Quick word of warning - if the Cursemas Sweater catches your eye, you might want to move quickly. According to our merch provider Fourthwall, these are the last dates to order if you want your jumper in time for Christmas Eve:

  • Fri. 21st - Deadline for knitwear orders for Dec 24th arrival (Standard Shipping)

  • Sun. 30th - Deadline for knitwear orders for Dec 24th arrival (Expedited Shipping)

We think delivery might be quicker than that - our sample you can see above arrived quicker - but if you want to avoid any potential postage delays, it's a good idea to get in there early.

You can purchase the Christmas jumper, along with all of our other merchandise, at the usual place: https://expvideo.info

The Spirit of Cursemas

With that out of the way, here's a look at our slate of content that's coming up over December, which we’re appropriately referring to as ‘Cursemas’. A few weeks ago, the three of us drove up to the Royal Armouries Museum in the UK Leeds to record a bumper stocking of content with Jonathan - SIX whole videos are coming over the next month or so, all recorded in-person with your favourite KOFAA.

Previously the only time we’ve been able to go up to Leeds and record with Jonathan in-person for EXP was for our Ready or Not IRL Special. That was a sponsored video, where Void Interactive’s sponsorship enabled us to pay for our time, Jonathan’s time, the time of the other staff who work at the Royal Armouries, and all the associated costs with filming on-location at the museum. Without putting specific numbers to it, the costs associated with a trip like that are roughly 10x the production costs of a regular EXP episode.

The sponsorship enabled us to put all those things in place for one day at the Royal Armouries, and we made one video from that trip. In short: it’s expensive.

Cursemas has been months in the planning, took all 3 of us 4 full days working on the production on location to put together, and will require weeks of work in post-production too. But it’s something we wanted to do, and something that was only possible thanks to our supporters on Patreon.

So, to be crystal clear, our supporters on Patreon have enabled us to pay for:

  • A 600+ mile round trip for the EXP crew, and all of our equipment

  • The hire of some extra equipment

  • A 3 night stay in Leeds, including food

  • 2 full days of Jonathan’s time

  • 2 full days of Royal Armouries fees, including support staff and shooting locations

  • Miscellaneous expenses (e.g. props, batteries, super secret surprises etc)

The above also doesn’t take into account the time we’ve spent on pre-production - planning the trip and the shoot, capturing gameplay, preparing equipment etc - and the time we are yet to spend on post-production - editing the videos, creating thumbnails etc.

As I hope you’ll see, as much as we love our normal content, there’s no substitute for being in the same room together. The 6 videos we’ve got planned for the next month or so will be some of the best, and most fun videos we’ve ever made, and none of it would have happened without our Patrons.

Our first Cursemas Special launches Friday 28th November, 15:00GMT / 12:00ET / 07:00PT.

As with all of our content, it'll be available first right here on Patreon, ad-free, and members of our Extended Episodes or VIP tiers will get longer, more in-depth episodes.

If you're a fan of our videos, we really think that this is something you won't want to miss.

Lots of love,

EXP x

Heresy done to that poor Sterling. And I will continue supporting the channel. Still so much games and movies to react to the guns of.
