I love this but im kinda confused, was the video a game in early development with some edditing or was this entire thing an animation?

I want you to know this animation came to me at a time where it hit me really hard. Art means different things to different people, and part of that is just where that person is in their life when they take in that art. When this first released it was just before the final test I had for my final year of electrical trades education. There were so many little nods in the piece that felt almost tailored to me. "Valence" being named after the electrons at the edges of an element, free to become current, and the imagery of forests and trees that were so familiar to my home. I was in a terrible state at the time. I was terrified, and studying really hard, and honestly wasn't very hopeful of passing. The ending sequence really hit me, and brought a tear to my eyes. My goal felt like that star, stuck behind the walls. Unobtainable. It was terrifying, and yet... "Everything happens for a reason.", "You've found home!" and the final frame with the wind turbine urging to "wait a minute..." just made me feel at peace. Like, no matter what happens, I'll be ok. This struggle I was going through had purpose. Then, just today, I went to do my final test, and I passed. I watched this again and I cried my eyes out. Everything really did have a purpose. I really did find home. I could finally wait a minute, find pause, relax, celebrate. I found such release knowing that I had made it through the challenge and had succeeded. Your art touched my heart, and pulled these feelings out of me. The music, the character designs, the nostalgic imagery in the video clips and the snippets of text. It came together perfectly. It was what I needed in the moment I saw it. It inspired me. Thank you for making this. It has deep artistic worth.

man, i am *so* happy to see that it's actually been overwhelming enough to make the game a possibility i don't care how long this takes, i need to see this someday. the trailer hit me like a fucking train

Do you plan on using Blender as a game engine for the final game?
