Hey there Park Patrons, today we come to you with a quick status update - we've recently upgraded our membership tiers and wanted to take a moment to walk you through what's changed.
First and foremost, we've gone through the descriptions of each tier and made a number of clarifications to the wording. As our page has grown, so too has the number of perks available across the different levels, and we wanted to make it easier to see exactly what each tier offers and how they differ from one another.
We've also added a handful of new perks starting from the Keeper tier, giving our dedicated supporters even more ways to get involved with Prehistoric Kingdom and its development.
It's worth noting that the price of each membership tier remains unchanged. While the Discord livestream channel has now been correctly restricted to the tiers it was originally intended for, this update isn't about taking anything away - our aim is to add more value to the existing tiers and make the benefits of each membership clearer.
Here's a quick rundown of what's new:
Monthly Patron Polls - Keeper Tier & up
New to the Keeper tier is access to exclusive Patron Polls, giving you a chance to have your say and help shape the future of Prehistoric Kingdom.
These polls will be held bi-weekly or monthly, and can cover a wide range of topics: whether we're looking for feedback on an upcoming feature, asking for your preferences on a piece of GUI concept art, or even polling you on which animal skin you'd like to see next, this new type of posts will give patrons a direct way to make their voices heard.
Monthly Animal Teases - Vet Tier & up
New to the Vet tier is access to exclusive Animal Tease posts, teasing an unannounced animal that's going to be added to the game. This will mirror past previews we used to release to our social channels.
These teases could feature anything from concept art to a partial preview of the animal's in-game model, giving Vet and Ranger Patrons an early peek at what's in store.
Developer Q&As - Vet Tier & up
Vet Patrons will also gain access to periodic Developer Q&A sessions hosted here on Patreon.
Have a burning question about Prehistoric Kingdom or its development? These sessions will be the perfect place to ask, as they might give you the opportunity to get answers directly from the development team and learn more about the game and its development.
Long-time supporters might remember a similar feature was present in our now-extinct forum (ca. 2015!)
The very first of these new posts will be going live later this week, and we'll be kicking things off with an exclusive animal tease. Stay tuned!
A clearer way to support PK
With these changes, we've tried to make the progression between the tiers more meaningful and, most importantly, easier to understand at a glance.
Whether you're here simply to support us, want a closer look at what we're working on, or want to get more directly involved in the development process, there's hopefully now a tier that feels right for you.

I was the max tier for 8 months and had to lower the tier for irl reasons. Will I retain the 3mth rewards after these changes?

Oh man I missed the polls. We've only had like two or three of them at the beginning I think. Animal teases were awesome too but ah... I'll leave those to folks with more money.

Im scared that it will become where the only way to have your suggestion heard, or to choose whats gona happen with the game is gona be only by patron. I fell like the comunity should be able to do pulls too so we know what the comunity want and not what the top paying people want. Its like, if you pay to be a patreon, you got more power over what will happen to the game, and i dont fell like it should be like that. bacially, the more money the more power, and we all know what tend to happen wen people got money and power.. so i dont think more paying paterons should be able to do polls about chooseing skins or important things.

Hey, let me assure you this won't be the case! Community sentiment is something we've always paid attention to and this is not going to stop any time soon. Patrons who participate in our polls won't inherently have more 'power' in that sense. The Patreon polls are intended to gather occasional early, targeted feedback, and other times simply to explore content options that specifically target Patreon supporters (for example, which animal skin they would like to see next, or report formatting options). Think of these polls less as something that shape gameplay in major ways, and more as ways for us to actively engage with people supporting us monetarily.
