The videos that got my channel deleted
Hi guys!
Just wanted to check in and share something I recently found out.
I was browsing the internet and came across a site called The ASMR Index. And I discovered that all of my recently posted videos were removed at once, and that’s what led to my channel termination.
I always wondered which videos might’ve triggered the system (besides the Winter Purification and Vampire Salon ones), and it turns out there were two more long-form videos—my latest ones—and one short. That’s five videos posted in a row that got deleted.
It makes me think something has definitely changed with how the AI flags the newer content…
Anyway, it’s not huge news or anything, but I thought it was something worth sharing. It’s really scary to think about posting new stuff now.
If any of you come across another ASMR creator who had a video removed recently, please let me know! Thank you so much for all the support. Your presence is the only thing that keeps me going at this point.
P.S. All the videos including the medieval ones will be uploaded this week!

I just had a thought what if it wasn't the video that the AI flagged but the term "roleplay" because it can be used as a "sexual" term to some
I'm not sure! Maybe...🥲 I honestly don't know how I should word it now
... huh. Those are some of your MOST appropriate videos and none of your videos have ever been close to inappropriate. Maybe the algorithm went nutty but I also wonder if there isn't some kind of targeting/brigading action or something. It just makes so little sense.
That's what I thought, too. Maybe YouTube is purposely targeting a type of videos maybe ASMR I don't know🥲
Idk what the ai could even be targeting with these even if ASMR as a genre was something they were targeting when so many others are not removed. Do an ASMR search on a fresh google account on Youtube and you probably wouldn't be surprised by what the algorithm will put at the top. Such an injustice.
Exactly. I see so many ASMR videos that could be considered inappropriate but why my videos🥲 I just really hope they aren't targeting ASMR itself because I would really like to start over someday
It just really rubs me the wrong way that now my Google TV recommends *actually s@xual* ASMR channels, and you got removed for... nothing.
Yes! I feel like I saw so many inappropriate videos on my youtube and they're still up and still open to everyone which is crazy!

I suppose it makes sense for you to pivot away from YT as a platform given how sporadic it's proven to be. Might be worth it to try shortform platforms like TikTok as a primary social media platform which can double as a "hook" to bring people to Patreon.
Yeah I think so too. But as you might already know, it's very hard to earn money through tiktok unless you have millions of followers and my content is not quite suitable for short from videos🥲
Interestingly, I remember seeing a note a few weeks ago from Myaling ASMR who I’ve followed for years about having a video flagged and taken down back in October I think. It’s seemingly an increasingly huge issue that ASMR content is being flagged as sexual that simply isn’t even close (if you have any awareness of Myaling’s content, she’s also a South Korean ASMRtist who makes primarily English videos; she cuts her shots off at just below her nose and does a lot of soft spoken spa and make up role plays, so it’s in line with the content you create, though she has far more subscribers than you as an older channel and puts out content FAR more slowly). If they are red flagging ASMRtists with older channels and bigger followings and zero sexual content, it’s only going to get worse. I have a feeling ASMR as a genre will be needing to challenge YouTube as a platform by finding a viable alternative or pushing the issue in legal negotiations in the nearer than farther future.

That's so weird!!! There's nothing wrong with those videos! But the way I hope you post one of my favorites. I think it was a sensory study at a clinic or something like that!
