Hopping lunar observation platform
People tell us Mustard inspired them to get into engineering.
That's one of the best things anyone can say to us. In reality, we just make videos. We tell stories about machines other people have the audacity to build.
Team HOPR at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is a group of aerospace engineering students designing a hopping reconnaissance platform. It's a system built to reach terrain that wheeled rovers can't. Think: lunar crater walls, permanently shadowed regions, places where the most valuable science is hiding.
These are senior engineering students building something that doesn't exist yet. And someday, the things they build might be the stories we're telling you about.
We're proud to support Team HOPR with Mustard merch for their Capstone Symposium, test days, and build season. But "proud" isn't quite the right word. Grateful is closer.
If we inspire anyone to become an engineer, that's great. But engineers are the ones who give us something worth talking about in the first place.
Go show them some love → @hopr_lunar @embry_riddle_prescott
As always, thanks so much for your support!
