I'm going to miss your guys videos so much!! It sounds like you have some exciting life plans though, and hopefully one day you'll return! It would be fun to see some update videos about how your lives are going or day in the woods/life videos with Justin if you have the time or interest, praying everything goes well for both of you!
I’ll miss your content and I wish for your life endeavors to go well. I hope you guys will return someday. Until then, farewell and good luck.
appreciate all the work and time spent on these videos. I hope to see you guys post again in the future. Maybe even some life update videos on youtube would be nice. until next time gentlemen.
Don’t think that just because your leave doesn’t mean I’m not canceling my subscription! I will stay here I will wait!
TYSM for coming back for those of us who finally found your YT right as you were about to move on. Money is important, but money aside, y'all earned & will continue to deserve to feel seen & appreciated for your work & (as mentioned) your unusual lens on historical techniques & tools. I truly hope the Patreon influx offered that recognition. I'll stick around for the foreseeable future for convo & hopefully get to see what this turns into down the line b/c (I think I also said this the day I joined) creative minds & hands don't stop. We pick up skills, add new areas of interest, and build upon old skills toward new mastery. Hope y'all have a fantastic & prosperous semi?-hiatus working on other areas of your lives. I know Basic & the initial part of service is often very regimented/restrictive, but I know we'd enjoy it if Joey was allowed to & wanted to do the occasional zero production value TikkyTokky selfie camera 3-5min "Hey chat, something from training reminded me of an interesting thing about projectile creation during antiquity. They used to (etc. etc.) Crazy & cool, right? Ok, gotta go." We'd enjoy little "contemplating the metaphorical artisan Roman Empire, as one does" from you both. I think my point is that y'all strove for & achieved such excellent production quality in a context of such demanding project parameters SO UNBELIEVABLY DANG EARLY in your content work, it would be easy (maybe inevitable even?) to feel nothing simpler is worth it or good enough. That isn't true IMO, as long as you enjoy & feel true interest in whatever you post. You can also 100% drop us segments of the unfinished video if you both want it to be seen & not risk losing it over time on a card or HDD. We're flexible & enjoy seeing your work. Joey, two entirely random things, just in case they might be helpful: 1) IDK if you get to have any personal consumption stuff in Basic. But I've been low carb/keto for decades due to an autoimmune intestinal problem & keto electrolyte powders like Hi-Lyte Keto K1000 are awesomely compact & concentrated b/c they (obviously) don't have the glycogen/sugar ingredients. My non-keto friends now swear by my electrolytes for recovery b/c they can tailor how strong they make it (usually just 1/3 to 2/3 of a serving b/c keto electrolytes are VERY high in potassium) , then they eat or drink something carby to restore glycogen. Lighter to carry & easy to adjust. 2) Again, possibly not permitted, also possibly not worth the razzing unless you brought enough of this to share, but that stretchy KT Tape stuff legitimately helps with shin splints, soreness, aches, etc. I majored in neuroscience and I don't think most of the trainer/PT explanations are why it helps, though. I believe it helps b/c of the way our bodies & brains use sensory downregulation. KT Tape is partially stretched in various patterns depending on what is being treated, and I think the brain responds to an unusual amount & pattern of skin sensation with "WTF!? Ok, immediately turn down the perception intensity of everything anywhere near that skin noise so we can not be distracted & not get get eaten by prehistoric carnivores." Less perceived pain = better rest/less tension = faster recovery from non-injury discomfort. Like the K-1000, my athletic friends now swear by it after (understandably) thinking it was BS. Sorry for the essay! Not sorry b/c it was an essay of supportiveness! Take care & don't skedaddle forever, y'all!
Good luck to you both. May life be good to you whatever you do. I’ll stay because you deserve it.
Tough news but good luck to both of you. Stay the way you are because I can tell the sincerity of you two. Will stick around and wait for your return.
Been happy to support yall! Good luck on your endeavors and hopefully we'll catch you somewhere down the line!
