Status Update #73 - August 2, 2026

Today's preview is not actually a preview. It's a line from the first episode that I've always particularly liked, but that many people probably never saw. I wanted to share, as I feel like it's the perfect combination of Duvessa being equal parts existentialist and savage.

I am happy to tell you that I'll be announcing the release date within a day or two! It's been a long wait, much longer than I wanted it to be, but we're at the finishing line, now! Thanks as always to everyone for supporting, and thanks to everyone who bought the game on Steam after it released a few days ago! It's currently sitting at a 100% positive score on there, which is bound not to last for long, but does bring a smile to my face while it does.

Last week, I promised the newest bonus story would be out by the end of July. IDK why I used that word, as it only makes me feel all the more guilty for not following through. Here's the situation: I've been immensely hard at work on the update, and all of my time and effort is going toward it. Therefore, think it best to release the bonus story after Ep 2 Pt. 2 comes out. However, I'll make it worth your while: the next bonus story release in late August will be 2-in-1, aka two bonus stories at the same time as an apology for not delivering the last one on time. I'm sure everyone can understand why I'm so focused on the actual game, and why I just can't bring myself to expend energy on a side project when we're so very close.
