Status Update #66 - June 15, 2026

PSA regarding the bonus story I promised would be done by now last week: it is 100% finished, but I noticed a small thing in the art I wanted changed. I am waiting on the artist to do so, and the moment they do I will put it out. It should be within 24 hours.

Still not quite finished with writing, but we're getting really close. The thing is, this update is really big. As I continue writing, it becomes apparent that this isn't a normally sized update in terms of length; it's definitely going to be longer than part one of Ep. 2 and quite possibly longer than part three as well. That I even debated whether or not to split the episode into three parts is funny to me now considering how huge this second act ended up being. I hope that comes across in the finished product and you guys will be able to see why it took an inordinately long time to put together. I dare say that, a few years from now, Episode 2 may have accrued a reputation as the longest one in the game. But, then again, I haven't written the rest, yet, and it seems I have a tendency to go where my gut takes me, which is the reason this one is so big to begin with. 

So the question becomes whether or not I'll get to 100% by next week. The answer is that I don't know, but I continue writing every single day without exception. I've gotten so much writing done these past few weeks that the slow progress of the list is more due to my poor estimation abilities than it is an indication that I'm not hard at work. At this point, it will be finished when it is finished.
