Status Update #60 - May 3, 2026

Yo; progress wasn't as great this week, mostly because I was working on other things also associated with the game, namely the last bonus scene and the Steam release. When I make estimates like the May 10th one from a few weeks ago, I always assume I'm a hyperefficient robot capable of much greater focus and discipline than I actually am. I'm sure many of you are the exact same way when setting goals. I'd say it's likely more accurate to say I'll for sure have all the writing done within May, and then I'll be shooting for a release in June. The big, ambitious nature of this game's updates almost makes me wish that I was making something less story-driven and purely smut so that I could just pump out updates and grow the game at a faster rate. I won't, though, so don't worry. 😂 I'm gonna make what I want to make.

Bonus scene #10 released a few days ago; that means that Matriarch-tier members can officially get ten bonus scenes for ten dollars, with the value only improving in future 😎I think the name "bonus scenes" might be misleading, now that I really consider it, since every one of them is a self-contained story that takes place over more than just a single scene. Maybe I'll rebrand? Side stories? Does that sound better? Anyway, if you're chomping at the bit for more Jezebel content, I just wanted to remind people that they exist.

Writing: 65-70% done
Coding: 0% done
CGs: All either made or in the process of being made
Animations: 1 more scene to do
Background Art: 100% Ready
Music: 100% Ready

It definitely doesn't sit right with me that the art is gonna be all finished before the writing is, and I'm confident that won't be the case next time so that I can release ASAP.
