Status Update #52 - March 8, 2026

As you can see from today's preview, I like to select only the most sophisticated and intriguing lines that I've written for the next release when I make these status updates.

I continue to get a lot of writing done; I've entered the stage of creation where I start to see everything more clearly, and writing therefore becomes much more fun. This happened with Pt. 1, and it happened with the first episode; I suppose it's possible it'll be a thing every time. I hope not, though, as the part where I'm overwhelmed at the start is moderately annoying and I would like to do away with it if at all possible!

Over the next few days, I'll be primarily working on censoring the game for the Steam release (as I've said in the past, a patch will be available to restore the 18+ version once it's out). Then, when I'm done with that, I happen to have over two weeks off at my day job; my goal is to be entirely done with writing Pt. 2 by the end of it. Once that's done, we'll move on to the stage where I count down what's still left to be made before I can put the game out. As I said on Discord a few days back, I recently received what has to be my favourite H-scene animation of the entire game thusfar; can't wait for people to see it!

As a final thing, I'd like to comment on the fact that Bonus Scene #8 is still not out for Matriarch and above tiers. I put out an FYI about this, but in case you missed it, it's basically a situation where I've had multiple revisions for my artist, and they consistently take a while to get back to me. It'll be out as soon as it is ready. I really appreciate how nice everyone has been when I don't manage to release things on time; I've never received a single negative comment from any of my followers on Patreon/Subscribestar about delays, and that means the world to me. I don't want to become complacent, though; actually putting things out when they are supposed to be out remains an ongoing goal! It can be difficult when you have to balance as many things as I do, but I'm working on it!
