A Simple Country Life

Dear patrons

Join us this week for a meander through our lives on the farm over the last few months since Constance has been around. We hope you enjoy the slow and simple pace which is pretty representative of how we have been living these days.

Whilst we both find being underwater relaxing (and Constance is following suite already enjoying partially submerging her head in the bath water!), we've discovered that our evening walks along the bush with animals in tow and our baby on our chest are just as calming.

As the weather gets hotter and drier we look forward to the lush green space that our irrigated garden becomes towards the end of Summer once all our plants are fully established and fruiting. We will of course share its transformation with you when this happens in a couple of months.

Thank you for your patience in waiting for the release of this one, we were, like most, quite busy over the Christmas and New Year period and just loved taking the time to introduce our beloved daughter to friends and family.

Our best wishes to you and yours

Troy, Pascale and Constance

I so enjoy the footage of your beautiful bit of the world. Thanks for sharing the sunrise and your lovely walks. It is fun to see the goats and cats following you on your walk. Looks like a bit of paradise to me! Thanks also for the wonderful update on Constance. I agree you made a wonderful decision to raise her on land in a rural environment. I am sure it contributes to a sense of peace in all 3 of you. Loved seeing you plant the fig tree using her placenta. With all those nutrients it will be a happy fig tree and hopefully give you loads of figs.

It's mostly peaceful on those walks but sometimes the cats let us know they are there with a bit of miaow-ing! Hoping for abundant figs along with cherries and avacados they are one of my most favourite fruits.

Such a nice video! Life adjusting with a new little soul who seems very interested, but when not is absorbing your wonderful energy. The radishes though, I love them. I'll watch again to see what you did. Again, really nice video, Chill!

Our new little soul took the day out from absorbing our energy to throwing up all over dad today :) Those sweet pickled radishes are very nice and we've had the thumbs up from friends who won't usually touch them. Such an easy crop to pop in wherever there's a bit of empty space.

Wonderful episode! Just the peaceful interlude I needed after a rather challenging day! Troy has done an admirable job while Pascale was on maternity leave, but it's great to see her working in the garden again, as well as canning and editing!

The garden is one of those things where it is a small chore to look after if done a little bit each day, but certainly raged out of control with warm weather and a little inattention. We hope the challenges of the day were met, and are now behind you Scott!
