Thanks for sharing your experience with us, as a father of 2 it brought it all back. Well done to you both. And how lucky Constance is to have such, beautiful, thoughtful and caring parents. x
Thanks for sharing such a personal journey, we are both so happy for you all. May you all be blessed beyond your wildest dreams. ❤️
Thank you both - we already feel blessed beyond our wildest dreams. I did not realise I could feel so much love. It is just so precious. I'm permanently chopping onions these days 😂
The time has come for me to say good-bye as a Patreon, it has been so wonderful to have been apart of your journeys. I wish you all the best in the years to come, and I want you to know... your spirit (s) will forever live in my heart. God's Good Blessings, Rob ✍️))) P.S. Constance you are a very lucky beautiful young lady... Cheers cutie pie ~
Thank you for your blessings and fair well Robert, it's been brilliant to have you along for the ride. Perhaps one day we will cross paths you just never know.
"The best thing we have ever done" I have said those words so many times, And may you continue to say them.
Couldn't agree more!
So wonderful! Congratulations to all!
Thank you both! She is such a precious little thing we are over the moon.
Fantastic! Brings back a lot of wonderful memories. I'm very happy you were able to usher Constance into the world naturally. She's a lucky lady to have to the folks she has!!
As something we couldn't have 100% control over we feel incredibly fortunate we had such a positive birth experience. Thanks for sticking with us for the ride all this time Scott and we're so glad telling our story helped you relive some of yours.
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely birthing story. I'm so happy it all worked out so well for you and you were able to have a natural birth. I am a doctor here in USA and was fortunate to be able to deliver quite a few babies early in my career, although water births were not an option at the time. Still, I tried to make the whole experience as "pleasant" as possible; I never cut an episiotomy, but instead I did lots of perineal massage and stretching, which allowed much better results, with only first degree tearing. This made for easy repairs, as well as decreasing the mother's post-partum discomfort. Unfortunately, my own birthing story was not quite so lovely: 18 hours of difficult labor, then epidural, followed by 2 hours of unsuccessful pushing, followed by c-section. Best laid plans, eh. All came out fine in the end, and he is now a 31 year old aerospace engineer. Time certainly does fly by...savor every moment. I know you don't want to have too many things, but would you be interested in having a quilt? I am a quilter and would be thrilled if you would let me make a quilt for you. If you are interested, please let me know what colors you like. love from Texas, Janet
We are incredibly grateful we had the birth we imagined at our little rural hospital. We were aware that anything can happen and one of my affirmations to prepare for labour was to calmly accept whatever turn my birthing took. Thank you so much for sharing the difficult birth story of your son. 5 weeks on Constance's birth seems a distant memory as each day our love and joy grows as we watch our little girl grow. How could we say no to a handmade quilt from you!? We'll send you a personal message to chat about our colour preference for such a thoughtful gift.
Beautiful yarn you shared, thank you. So happy for the three of you. Savour every moment.
Thank you Vince. We could just stare at her all day long (and sometimes we do!)
Go well, little family.
We have watched you both sailing, and now on your homestead. You are both beautiful. Thank you for sharing Constance coming into the world. Thank you for sharing xxx
I’m so happy to hear that you persevered through the birth of your beautiful little character. And I am so grateful that you both spoke openly about your birth experience. I wanted so desperately to have a natural birth. At 40 weeks I walked from the Women’s hospital in Melbourne up to my house in Brunswick and still my little man wouldn’t come. At 40 weeks my blood pressure went up and I was induced. Then labour came on like a storm on the sea. My son Huon was born within 3 hours. I thought I was dying. But I didn’t die, and my son is now 8 years old and watching little Constance being welcomed into the world
Wow that sounds momentous - nothing like the steady ebb and flow of the first 15 hours of my labour (the last 3 were seriously intense though). I loved hearing and reading different birth stories whilst I was pregnant so had to share ours with you all. Thanks also for giving us a glimpse of yours. Lots of love to you and your family Emma.
Thank you both Pascale and Troy sharing this momentous part of your life.
Oh my gosh. With such love we welcome Constance to the world
