Food for Thought plus Waterfalls, Sailing and Rock Art - Episode 117

After a well earned rest we explore the surrounds of Pittwater before heading to Gosford to re-provision Mirrool.

Apologies for the delay in getting this video up for you folks we are experiencing very flaky internet coverage at our anchorage on Maria Island on the east coast of Tasmania.

Hope you enjoy it, it's at a much calmer pace than last week's episode! 😂

With gratitude

Pascale

Once again, the latest FRS vid is a highlight of my week. ! Not sure what that says about me, but I do love where you have been taking us :-) (both Geographically speaking and in the cinematic sense). And I always get my Croc fix in the intro! Tim

Hopefully it says about you that you like simple pleasures and being immersed in the natural world (we know that's true😉) while trying to decipher unusual accents!

Thanks Mark, we try to keep it a bit different each episode.

Great channel! Drove out of the servo today pretending to be P&T narrating our coffee and the truck load of hay in front of us. It’s so nice just to take in the everyday, of the day. Really great work, all the best.

We would probably have a fair bit to say about coffee and loads of hay! We love all things rural.

Delightful video for a comfortable winter Friday evening here in the PNW. :-)

Troy and Pascale · January 26, 2020

Thanks David. I think the climate we are in now mirrors the one you get in the PNW For large parts of the year. It's a big change for us to get an ice-cream headache from diving for our dinner!

Fantastic! Nice to see you in relative calm after a well deserved rest! Troy has a fine looking cast with the fly rod--only thing missing is having it bend over double with a strike ;) Looked like a nice farmer's market, and enjoyed seeing you looking remarkably domestic in the super market afterward. Enjoyed it all, as always! Thank you, friends!!

That poor old flyrod hasn't had a decent curve in it since northern Australia:( The farmers market was terrific there but we have found the produce here in Tasmania is even better. The clean, cold environment has led to some very happy dinner times. Stay tuned!

You are the only people who can make going to the supermarket interesting.... Thanks for another great video!

T
Troy and Pascale · January 26, 2020

Lol. What could be better than a trip to the Supermarket!!?

TY for that day in the life video, folks. As others have noted, a necessary "evil" these chores. Although I tend to like going out and buying things! I think groceries in the US are catching up to you mates down there. But we still have a lot of packaging, Troy...

T
Troy and Pascale · January 26, 2020

Stocking the boat is usually an exercise in logistics but we try to make a fun outing of it if at all possible. Packaging is really something we struggle with on a personal level and also the amount of space we have to devote to storing used packaging till it can be disposed of. Even a shopping bag over a couple of months seems too much!

Aye m8's, you seriously hint there are followers getting annoyed if an upload isn't on schedule? I mean, this is sailing ⛵and not a marina hopping show 🤷‍♂️

We have never had a single one of you complain of a late video. Maybe concern for our welfare. We just feel like we have a commitment to you in return for the support you have for us and the best wishes that you often communicate here.

Thank you! Definitely a far more chilled video than last week! 😱 👍 I was wondering if the view from inside the washing machine was going to start turning once Pascy closed the door... 🤣 🤪

Haha, no we reached the limit of our film making creativity when faced with a locking front loader.
