I think I'm more afraid of the red bass than the sharks!

Wonderful work guys! Absolutely loving the videos, I'm just wondering what you mean about the vibrations there troy. You don't want the fish thrashing about?

T
Troy and Pascale · June 15, 2018

Exactly right. In the short video 'How to Spearfish with Sharks', we expand on that information if you haven't already watched it.

Love the 'Starring' showing the names of the various fish. Music is very nice as well.

T
Troy and Pascale · June 14, 2018

Cheers Don we think that is going to have to be a feature with our underwater sequences from now on!

I just can't say enough about how good these videos are. As soon as I hit play, I can't believe I am still in the YouTube space. This video and ones prior are truly well done. I love how you not only capture some amazing footage, but that you embellish the video with either subtitles, defining the fish, or commentary on the history of the places you go. I was especially interested with the cave paintings of past videos and your commentary, I learned a great deal. Being and engineer, I also find it interesting to talk about the maintenance and repair of owning a boat. Somehow you find a way to seamlessly include these repairs, etc in way, that even while they can be frustrating and or costly, as part of the adventure as a positive. Thank you also for sharing your adventures with the world.

Thank you Charles. We get so excited to share these with you guys as they're getting close to being finished, then your appreciation of the work is a very rich reward. Thanks again for being with us.

Awesome work guys. What underwater camera do you suggest? Go Pro?

T
Troy and Pascale · June 14, 2018

We've just bought a Sony FDR X3000 hopefully it lives up to expectation.

Appreciated the research that goes into showing the names of fish.

You're most welcome.

Really beautiful snorkel footage. Very very nice! I worry about you two going around coral with no protection on your lower legs... won't it slice you like a bad pirate if you nudge up against it? Also the music during the dives added a lot to the scene. Someone has very good taste indeed! Thanks for sharing the journey again Pascale & Troy!!!

T
Troy and Pascale · June 13, 2018

Thanks a lot Dave. Coral will give you a nicely infected cut. First aid is washing with plenty of Hydrogen Peroxide but we are really careful to avoid contact with it for the coral's sake as much as ours.

Speechless. Your films are just too good, There are some making YT video's need to watch and learn how it's done, or hang their heads in shame at the dross they churn out......... just sayin' 😁😁😁

Cheers Jack!

Yup, working now, (15:46, (UK Time) 13/06/18, though the sound has still got problems, though I am on the opposite side of the world!. Another informative video of the Reef locals and how and what to feed them without losing your hand! Thanks for giving the fish names, it's all good.

T
Troy and Pascale · June 13, 2018

Oh no - what were the sound issues, it seems to be fine when we play it on YouTube at our end. Thanks for getting back to us Andy glad it's finally playing albeit the noise problems...
