Behind the Scenes: How I Organize My Sims Family Trees ๐ฟ
Hi everyone ๐ฑ
Something I've been quietly using in my storytelling process lately โ and honestly, it's been a game changer for how I manage my legacy families.
As my saves have grown, keeping track of generations, heirs, and storylines has become genuinely overwhelming โ and the in-game family tree isn't helping. If you've played any legacy or royalty gameplay lately, you know exactly what I mean: relationships displaying wrong, couples showing up as siblings, long-running saves completely scrambled after updates ๐ญ So I started using TheSimsTree to map everything out instead, and it just clicked.
It lets me:
map out family relationships across generations
track heirs and lineage as stories evolve
keep my Sims family history organized in one place
update everything in real time alongside streams and gameplay
The best part? You can actually follow along too โ my main family tree is publicly available here!

It's become such a natural part of how I tell stories, especially with how interconnected everything gets across long-running legacies. My Sims do not make it easy ๐ญ
If you're a legacy player or just love storytelling-focused gameplay, it's genuinely worth trying. I'll be sharing more about how I use it in future posts and streams as my families keep growing.
You can try it here ๐ https://thesimstree.com/?ref=COZYPIXEL Use code COZYPIXEL for $4 off Pro ๐ฟ
I'd also love to know โ do you keep track of your Sims families, or do you just let the chaos unfold? ๐
xoxo, Steffie ๐ธ
