NEW Feature Update Breakdown

Hello everyone!

Now that the Trent Update is out and available to all Patreon supporters, we wanted to break down our upcoming Feature Update! I hope you're ready for a deep dive because we are adding a ton of new stuff and revealing it all right now!

1. More Post Card Scenes

One of the fresh additions we introduced in the Trent Update was what we call Postcard Scenes. These provide a close up and detailed snapshot of intimate moments leading up to our romantic scenes, complete with new internal dialogue and descriptive narration text.

As part of our next feature update, we are returning to previous explicit scenes and implementing these additions for Peter, Jun, Rocio, and Marcus.

2. New Flirting Types

We are also expanding the flirting mechanic to introduce new ways you can interact with characters. Until now, dialogue choices often meant simply selecting something flirty or friendly. Now you can choose the exact style of your flirt, giving you greater control over your MC's personality. Will you be straightforward and express yourself bluntly? Perhaps you prefer to play as a sweetheart who wears your heart on your sleeve. Or maybe you want to ease the tension during an awkward encounter using sarcasm and teasing. 

Every single flirty encounter in the game is being updated with these new options and responses. (It will be possible to hide the icons if you'd prefer to interpret each flirt yourself)

And yes, these choices will affect your relationships!  Each Edgefield character responds differently depending on their specific Flirt Type Preferences, which can be viewed in another brand new addition called Character Profiles.

3. New Character Profiles

We are completely overhauling the way you visualize your relationships. We are introducing dedicated Character Profiles for every romanceable character. These profiles include: 

• Character Descriptions and Daily Schedules - Finally you’ll know when and where to find the characters you’re looking for! 

• A Romance Bar - Completing a character's first chapter brings you to Level 1. Further progression requires meeting up and flirting through a series of dialogue choices and physical interactions we tentatively call the Flirting Minigame. Each new level unlocks fresh interactions with that character!

• Their Preferred Flirting Type - Once you’ve experimented with different ways of flirting, you’ll learn their preferred flirt type and see the bonuses that come with each!

4. Flirting Minigame

This new interactive minigame lets you actively flirt with characters to fill your Romance Bar and raise your Relationship Level. Advancing your level unlocks brand new content for each character, including:

• New sexting scenes with nudes

• A sexy photoshoot

• A new date scene (for Main Characters only)

• New postcard scenes

• And new animations

Main Characters unlock this minigame immediately after completing their first chapter, which places your relationship at Level 1.

The upcoming feature update launches with this minigame ready for Jun, Trent, Rocio, and Marcus. Moving forward, every new character update will include all of this content for that specific character.

5. Sex SFX

This one speaks for itself. We are finally adding audio sound effects to all of our sex scenes!

7. Development Miro Board

We feel we’re in a great spot with the amount of progress we’ve made already! We already have working prototypes for the Character Profiles and the Minigame and Dr. Bird has written all of the new flirting dialogue we’re adding to previous interactions. No release date is lined up yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as that changes! 

And as a reminder, our Miro board remains the best place to keep up to date with our production schedule. So while we can’t give you an exact date, we can give you an in depth transparent look at everything we’re doing on a day to day basis!
