Character Update Poll 03 - Results

The results are in! Thank you all so much for voting in our latest Character Update poll.

It was a close race, but after adding up all of the tiered bonuses, we have our winner!

The next character to receive their Chapter One Character Update is…

✨ Quinn✨

What to Expect

In Quinn's first Character Update, you will meet some of her local friends after you finally buy that skateboard and take her up on those skate lessons! Like with the Jun Update and the upcoming Trent Update, you can expect a focused expansion that explores Quinn's personality and backstory through a dedicated quest line as your relationship with her progresses.

This update will also continue to expand the world of Edgefield, with additional locations and side characters.

The narrative of Quinn's update is fully blocked out and Dr. Bird is already getting started on bringing each of the new scenes to life. Thank you all so much for your support of this project and for your participation in these polls! <33

What Happens Now?

Our current goal is finishing the Trent Update! We've continued to make great progress and are almost fully finished with the art. After another round of polishing the scene assembly, we will begin our playtesting process and have that update ready for early access for our Patreon supporters!

After the Trent Update, we will be focused on a smaller Feature Update that will fix, update and alter some existing gameplay mechanics. While we're working on that, Dr. Bird will be writing the Quinn Update before the rest of the team moves over to join her!

As always, we want to ensure everything meets our quality standards before committing to a specific release date for any future updates. We’ll hold off on announcing a release window until the update is nearly finished and we can give you a date with confidence!

Thank you again for voting and for your incredible support. Keep an eye out for the next Dev Update and a future playtesting announcement in our Discord channel!
