Dev Update 13

Hey everyone!

There is a lot to cover in this Progress Update. We’ll start with some big announcements for the immediate future, followed by a dive into the progress we’ve made this month on the Jun Update. Let’s jump in!

1. Demon Master Cards Patch (V0.2.2)

Just to be clear: This is NOT the Jun Update.

This is a targeted patch introducing New Locations, more Demon Master Cards, and various quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

Access: This patch is exclusive to Patreon Supporters. These features will be integrated into the Public Release of the Jun Update later on.

Release Date: May 1st!

2. Card Hunting Contest

It’s competition time! With the new locations and cards dropping, we want to put your hunting skills to the test. When V0.2.2 goes live on May 1st, the first 10 players to find all 20 cards (new and old) will win some exciting prizes!

3. New Character Update Poll

Following the Card Hunting Contest, we’ll be hosting our second Character Update Poll where our supporters get to decide which male character will take center stage in our next update! (This might be the perfect time for you card hunters to cash in that extra vote power...)

4. New Side Characters

The world of Edgefield is growing! We’ve finished the artwork for two new side characters you’ll meet in the Jun Update. Give a warm welcome to Kenny and Olivia!

5. Jun Art Rework

We decided Jun deserved a bit of a glow-up. We’ve refined all of her existing poses and added a variety of brand-new facial expressions to bring her character to life in new ways!

6. New Poses

Jun isn’t the only one getting attention! Several other main characters have received new poses to help tell her story.

7. UI Location Names

A small but satisfying change! The location name in the top UI bar now accurately matches every single location on the map.

8. Text Messages Appear in Order!

Kicks implemented a feature we’ve wanted for a long time! From now on, all new text messages will appear at the top of your message list, just like a real phone!

9. Ramen Shop Interior Polish

We felt the Ramen Shop needed a bit of polish. We’ve adjusted the interior art to better match the visual style of the rest of the world!

10. Maeve Wallpaper!

Since our last progress update we released a new Wallpaper for our Junior and Senior tier supporters. This one features your favorite manager/punk rocker, Maeve!

11. Progress Trackers

The team has made incredible strides this month and are set to wrap up the Jun Update very soon!
